In the short term, I had to set my test equipment up in a different room.
I like this setup. Plenty of electrical outlets and light to see by, and space enough for a desk and card table.

If you really want quality glass, look at Leupold brand. They're one of the few times I've really spent some heavy coin and been happy with the results. They run 175-500 bucks but have really good anti fog coatings and optical quality lenses. Monacular lenses don't offer very wide site pictures but are easy to pack in a fanny pack or jacket pocket. All my good rifles have Leupold glass on them for scopes and some are more expensive than the actual rifle. Good stuff.
