Pacific Seed Bank looks a like a white label seed reseller. All their breeders are just generic made up names...."dna crew,' "mendocino farms " lol
Yes they have some red flags but ive ordered a bunch from them and it all checks out so far. 'I've spoken at length about them' here on the forums. They have lots of hard to find clone only s1s. I just grew their hogsbreath and was shocked how spot in it is to the cut i had in SD circa 2012. There's no faking that plant. Believe what you want though..
* I'm going to add a little more about PSB. I purchased 10 or so 3-packs from them a few years ago. Never grew them. I did a lot of online reading/research afterward and the consensus was they were scammers. I got scared. Somebody on here even said that they send you random genetics that are good, just not the strain you purchased. I thought, ah fuck, at least they only got a few hundred from me. I've since purchased another 40 packs of theirs after my recent experiences..
As somebody that's ordered from over 30 different seed vendors, 10 more if you count Strainly, and never ONCE not got what I ordered, I'll say I've learned many things. I read a lot on these different forums online about people who claim they've never received their seeds. That's never happened to me in the last 4 years I've been collecting seeds, nor back in 2006 and again in 2012 when I purchased online. 75-100 transactions, easily. Not once. There have been a few sheisters including Gorilla Seeds who advertise here and we got into a disagreement and they acted unprofessional. A few like that, most breeders and banks have gone out of their way to be helpful and even throw me extras. Some breeders like Fleur Du Mal, have great stuff but wont answer questions, etc. Different attitudes are common I guess. Canadian Hemp Co is another one of the few places I purchased seeds that I cant verify. I have some packs of theirs to test out before I make up my mind for certain, but they have all sorts of negative strikes online.
But back to PSB. They're Eastern Europeans and from what I can deduce from my experiences is that they're buying up clones, likely from all the dispensaries out in California, and making S1s and Autos. With those fake breeder names, I think they're advertising to newbies that don't know the difference. People on these forums assume all customers know what a lot of us on here know. I think its a poor marketing choice and they should just package and sell everything as PSB.
Now let's say that I'm wrong and they're selling bogus strains. How is it that the hog's breath was legit? Did they have that clone and make s1s, and fake all of the rest of their stuff? Seems highly doubtful. What would the odds of that be?
They aren't the most honest seed company but I trust they're sending me s1s of the strains I order. I have contacted them about a Kryptonite seed that started flowering as a seedling and they don't replace seeds. More negatives, I'm not making anything up. But the trinity and hogsbreath are defiantly legit. I have some more strains of theirs coming this run. And like 40 more strains of their to try. I will be posting on my grow journal for anyone interested.
Last thing I want to do is vouch for the wrong people and if it turns out I'm wrong I will be the first to say so.
