I did say the gun advocates sure got in bed with some weirdos, religious nut jobs, Qanon, J6 insurrectionists, Nazis, bigots, racists and treason with Russians too. Like I said, wrong side of history and the reckoning has only just begun, and it will be a shit storm for them in 23 & 24 while following Trump down the legal rathole. Once the democrats win, they will have bigger priorities than guns, but will make some commonsense gun reforms, their biggest focus will be on leveling the electoral playing field and removing many of the republican advantages that they have accumulated over the years at the expense of democracy. Getting rid of foxnews from cable and any wannabes will be a very important part of that and the fox walked right into the trap with the lawsuits and a lot more. The republicans are completely dependent on culture wars and whipping up morons over nothing and work in partnership with foxnews, get rid of them and it will cut the republicans off at the knees and now they have ample grounds and evidence for investigations and new law.

I and many Americans think it is time for foxnews to go. They are involved in a conspiracy to give the republicans an electoral advantage with a broadcast license and are in violation of past and existing FFC principles. The gave the republicans tens of billions in free advertising over decades and without them, where would the GOP be? Forced to tell the truth more would be my guess! They murdered hundreds of thousands with their covid coverage and helped foment J6 and carried the big lie after. Their viewers couldn't handle the truth and bolted to other alternative reality when told Trump was a loser after the election. There are plenty of grounds for public hearings and putting the lot of them under oath, the purpose of such investigations is to first get to the truth and second come up with new law to prevent such bullshit from happening again. Like I said, if the democrats win, it will happen, and it won't be me doing it either.

It looks like they could be bankrupted and even if they are, or not around, the hearings will still go on and any replacements for fox will be fucked from the getgo. AM radio might go too, reassigned to digital use by the FCC and the band width converted to FM format, bye hate radio, besides AM doesn't work very well in EVs and most don't have an AM radio anyway.

I don't think you live in a safer place than me. We have a litteral single digit crime rate, we lived in a highly republican area prior to this and our safety was one of the reasons we left. I have no idea where my house key is and I tend to leave my keys in my trucks and sxs.... If that tells you about how safe the area is that we live. Our town cops litterally don't even work weekends.
We will be picking up our Maine Coon kitten in a few weeks, thanks for the suggestion.
