That's the thing is the vast majority of mass shooters are in it to kill themselves. So you have to account for the shooters mental health...just taking away guns isn't going to stop people from causing mass harm just ask the victims of Timothy McVeighs bombing of the Oklahoma federal building? Or even more recent did you here about the Brazilian axe mass murder?

I know they usually plan to kill themselves or die by police, but if we could catch more alive and make it a living hell for them the rest of their life it might make some think twice. We also need to do more about mental health and implement more red flag laws.
Those fuckers that do that shit piss me off. Fucking shit up for the rest of us. And this latest trans shooter shit is messed up too. Since then she's kinda become a martyr to some. Even the Biden Administration kinda is promoting it. Anyone that wants to take my guns can kiss my ass. I haven't killed anyone.

Not interested in dancing with them myself, as are increasing numbers of Americans, about 80% the last time I checked, there are solutions and I outlined them in previous posts and federal regulation is perhaps the only way to deal with it constitutionally. I don't advocate extreme measures in the beginning though, there is democracy and the republic to secure first and many urgent problems to solve and address. Changes can come after each election cycle depending on the political situation, America can't afford to have the republicans in government, they are unfit and a real and present danger.

Do you recall when you demanded I respond to your question about a dreadfully authoritarian idea that would have appointed "counselors" in charge of who could have a gun and I responded by saying I preferred objective measures instead? But I asked if you could expand on the idea, because your first post was kind of muddled and I wanted to be fair to you.
So, I know you aren't ducking or anything, but how about explaining your awful idea so that we can understand what you suggest and maybe I'll apologize to you for thinking it was a stupid idea.

That is for the law and a judge to decide, in her state. If it was in Canada she would be in a lot of trouble, first for having the gun in the first place and then for unsafe storage if she was permitted to own a handgun which she would most likely not be permitted to possess. She would be looking at time, up to 5 years for the handgun alone and self-defense is not a valid reason for owning a gun.

The problem I see in that is that I have/had some gun nut friends. The ones I'm talking about are quite a different shade of pale than the nutcases out there. No puns intended with the verbiage. Have a habit of quoting music.
