Of COURSE Lowes has paint on sale today....after i paid $60 for a gallon.

best part, I bought the wrong sheen...i got semi gloss....I hate semi gloss, unless your walls are perfect. I always buy satin...Brain fart i guess!

Decisions, decisions...Go back and get another gallon, or wing it and use this shiny crap...

Home depot gives me the same Vet discount plus it seems like when we need a larger item (appliance etc...) lowes is out but they're not.
A no brainer for me.

It took Home Depot about 6 months to finally ship in an unbroken toilet. Same with a dishwasher, sigh.

I HATE driving in it. It was so foggy on base one time I had to look for where the line on the side of the road ended to figure out where to turn. Had to count the roads to get the right one.

It gets like that down below us in the valley sometimes. The headlights don't do crap and I have bad enough eyesight as it is.

It looks like a big fluffy blanket when driving down to it from the mountains. Kinda cool to sit and watch it move around like water from some altitude.

It's pretty cool to be on top of a mountain when the fog is below and only the tallest mountains show. Looks like little islands in the snow. Very beautiful.

My dad worked at Lowes for 25 years. So I basically shopped exclusively there. Because of the discount. He retired in 2015. Then I changed tool brands. So now I basically exclusively shop at Home Depot. Neither is better than the other really though. Bought a vanity from Lowes that was cracked. Bought a water heater from HD that had a bad gas valve. But having to decide Between Dewalt, Makita or Milwaukee. HD has 3/3. Lowes only 1/3. I chose Makita because their kits were slightly cheaper. Except the pole saw. Why are you so fucking expensive pole saw!!?!

It's custom tinted, and "unreturnable". But they will take them back if you complain.

Rheem actually makes pool heaters under the Raypak name. They're pretty reliable.
