I don't care for mechanical timers either, so I use a $15 digital version. You're more likely to screw up than a mechanical timer though.its alot to do with being skint most ov the time mate. and i was on the understanding mechanical timers are crap for led light,ive tryed with a mech timer they swithched on but not off
