Thats what I was thinking. I'd make it either 3x3 or 4x4 with 6 to 12 inches of burned wood for a border around a glass center and I hide the chain tensioners better with eye bolts through the bottom.

Or put the tensioners in the middle of the chain. That'd look good too.

I'm sure yours will be way cooler and definitely cheaper...that thing is pretty basic.
No way I'd pay $800 for that table...I wouldn't even pay $100 for that...I'd make my own for less than $40 and I'd get the satisfaction of welding it up myself...

Oh I'm not doubting your workmanship or the cost of it at all. Just that there seems to be a pretty big divide in customers heads about what they're willing to pay for stuff they want and what they think they should pay for stuff they need lol.
