Mountain Air filters works best in my experience!
That's just my experience. They might not be the same anymore.Cool thanks, I'll grab one of those.
I've always been a can fan guy. But after they switched owners, I got a can lite, and it didn't last long at all. Spoke with the guys from Kootenay at lift expo just after the buyout and they explained the whole thing to me. Made alot of sense why the cans weren't the quality they were beforeWorst filter I’ve ever bought has been the AC infinity 8”
Best filter was Can
How does one reactivate the charcoal in a filter? Heck how do you get into the filter?Mine, (vivosun) has lasted for about 4 years, I wash the outer dust cover after each grow. If it starts to fail I will probably try to re-pack it or re-activate the charcoal.
No smell at all? For some reason I just don't believe that. Boy if I thot it possible,I've had my 6" Vivosun filter for years. Can't smell a thing until you open up the tent.

They got a sale right now. Which one would you need for a small starter room, to really kill the smell?REGISTER AND GET 15% OFF PLUS POINTS 420
You really need a tent to contain smell. They got a sale right now. Which one would you need for a small starter room, to really kill the smell?Code:https://vivosun.com/search?q=filter
Yea, how is that not already a thing?Someone should come out with a canister with replacable carbon.
TY Doc.You really need a tent to contain smell.
5x5 tent, you need 8" filter & 8" inline
4x4 tent, you need a 6" carbon & 6" inline fan.
2x4 tent, you can do both of those in 4"
3x3 both in 4"
Usually they’re riveted or tack welded, or if you’re rally lucky the cap is held on with screws. You have to grind off the rivets or break the welds on the cap. Remove the charcoal and either replace it with fresh, or you can wash the carbon in H2O2 and cook it in the oven until dry. For the trouble, I just replace with fresh. How does one reactivate the charcoal in a filter? Heck how do you get into the filter?
Once you remove the cap (sounds hard) & replace the activated charcoal, how do you reseal it?Usually they’re riveted or tack welded, or if you’re rally lucky the cap is held on with screws. The replacement carbon filters are $70. You must be looking at the wrong thing bud.TY Doc.
Well, replacement filter carts, just on a glance i took at vivisun, were like 6 bux. I mean that's affordable, isn't it, if they last for 2 or 3 or more years?

Silicone seal, makes it easier to remove the next time. Quite honestly I’m not sure it’s all that cost effective, but I’m retired, so I have a lot of “tinkering time”.Once you remove the cap (sounds hard) & replace the activated charcoal, how do you reseal it?
This filter, also the beer. This beer. You are welcomeWill it work for a year, 6 months, what do you personally get out of them? And what's the brand you go with.
This AC Infinity 6" filter of mine just stopped filtering smells after 1 & 1/2 flower runs. So not even 2 full runs.
Seems like the thing that will cost the most to keep growing?
People don’t swap out the carbon because they use a machine to shake pack them so there’s no gaps. Also it’s messyOnce you remove the cap (sounds hard) & replace the activated charcoal, how do you reseal it?
