Is this a hypothetical? If they’re growing well, and in a 3-4 inch pot (Dixie’s cup), 10-20 days, I normally wait till is see roots coming out the bottom, and wait a few days after that, about 4 nodes, depending on how vigorous they’re growing.
No, it’s worked for me the last decade, you just have to read your plants. Is this a hypothetical?
First get rid of the opaque covers they are stealing what light you haveThe plants are leggy, will they strengthen on their own?? Should I shore themView attachment 5271858 up with a bit of extra soil
Thank you!! I am so new at this.I don't think they are near ready to transplant........you may have to prop them up to prevent falling over until the root system is established.
For now, either get a better light or lower the one you have to prevent further stretching.
When you do get to the transplant stage..........bury that entire stem down to the cotyledons.
Good luck.
In this case size really mattersThank you!! I am so new at this.
So… how do I know when they are ready to transplant??
Should I leave l light on them 24/7When they're about this size.........2 weeks from sprout for me.

I planted in seed starter soil. Do I add any nutrients at this time??I will add my .02 here if you wait for the root mass to fill the pot it helps hold the soil together when you remove them from the pot. If you do it too soon then the soil will fall apart and make a mess so I try to wait till the roots have everything held together. It won’t hurt anything to transplant sooner than that just a personal preference for me. The less of a mess I make the less I have to clean up lol
In soil? No. I'd wait for a bit until true leaves. You can mix a ridiculous light mix like 150ppm. I use rapid start from gh very sparingly in the beg. They don't need much nutes at this stage and they have a small food source in their cotyledonsThank you so much for your help.
