Can't do much away from the house and have to catch a ride to the Gym.

Before all this I was doing 4 hours at the Gym and still doing other things.

I asked about fishing my wife said I would have plenty fishing on our trip. Oh well water is high everywhere.

Asked about hunting. Guess I have a place but have to have someone take me and pick me up.

Dang old Libra. I turn 70 October 5.

Had my first Hot Flash last night. Woke up sweating my rear off.
That's great you're not sitting on your ass like so many people , especially older people.....they wait to damn long , then they can't get their ass moving !

I about passed few years ago and I was ready but a Doctor wouldn't let me. He stayed with me for 18 hours keeping me kicking.
Glad you're here now tho I hope. My mom turns 96 in August and was tired of living years ago but still gets around pretty good but now is completely blind from macular degeneration. Like me, she hopes when it's time to go she just goes to bed and wakes up dead in the morning. No fuss, no muss and best of all, no pain and suffering tho we can get a doctor to put us down here in Canada now so a person doesn't have to suffer from a terminal illness any longer than they can stand to. It's called MAiD, Medical Assistance in Dying. Just like getting your old dog put down at the vet and us humans should at least be treated as good as our pets when it's time to shuffle off this mortal coil.

Sure hope you can regain a decent level of health so you can enjoy what time you do have left. I just want to get out of Bumf**k Alberta and go live on Vancouver Island near my cousin Bob in Campbell River so we can both fish our brains out to the end. :)

So far these have not proven to be my 'Golden Years'. :(

Some lucky bastards glide right though this Eartly Gauntlet ( don't f'ing fall down! )
Some people are born f'd and dye f'd .............and everything between. Getting older , ya just can't help thinking about it at times , but I do not dwell on it......no clock ticking in my ear. Sorry about your mother , your emotions must be in a whirlwind . 96yrs is quite the run , she must be whipped .
Move , adapt , keep a sense of humor . By the way......I'm two days older than you
I love that month.......

Since I've beaten over 40 years of chronic depression/PTSD back by microdosing 'shrooms that also released me from craving alcohol I'm feeling better all the time. Never did lose my sense of humour and could always get the room laughing tho often it was a cover-up for the depression. The only real health issue I need to fix is the diverticulitis and I'm seeing a GI specialist next week about that so hopefully that will be gone within a year or less.

Mom is still pretty cheerful to talk to when I call but stuck at home with my sister so gets lonely sometimes. I'm going to try to go stay for a couple months at least with them late summer/fall and help my sister out with her care. Drive her to appts and stuff like that so my sister can have more time to herself. Get some decent fishing in while I'm at it too. :)

I'm starting to enjoy life more than I have in decades and going to do my best to stay as healthy as I can as long as I can.

I'm adopted so mom's longevity doesn't really apply to me. Found out a few years ago my b-mom died of dementia so sure hope that's not in my otherwise good genes but I'm not losing sleep over it.

As they say , " there are swimmers and then there are sinkers "..... ya ain't no sinker.
Sure sounds like ya may have a chance to go for the " summit " , if ya get a chance.
Always " Hold Tight " .........or get the horns. I've had several train rides to Hell , it
can take quite a bit of time to get home .

Where do you hunt deer in March?
I have to get ready early September is really not that far away. I use to go hunting in February actually Valentine Weekend.

My wife said she was getting tired of paying money for me to get drunk and party for 3 days.

I got drawn for a hunt year before last. I was told how wrong I was to put in for it.

I made plans to go fishing in Florida but just before Arthritis put me down. Nothing they can give me so more Pain Medication. So pee it do more Edibles.

9 miles is nothing on a bike, then you wouldn't need anyone else to get you to the gym and get some extra cardio and leg muscle building at the same time. Check Craigslist and Facebook for an old long wheelbase recumbent like a Tour Easy, Stratus, or Sun CX. Perfect for Old Guys really.

Don't have any place safe to ride one.

Use to Jog, work out with Weights and did Taekwondo. Then went in and worked 10+ hours a day. Took care of our Farm.

While I'm thinking of it what if I get somewhere and can't get back? Done this before.

Said something to my wife about a bike.

She said the same as me there is no place safe to ride. Plus again I didn't think of it not good with just one Arm working good.

Figured out today how to get distance on the machine. Went about 3 miles.

Problem around my place we have thousands of Tourist, locals feeling the Speed Limit is too low.

Road has many hills and curves.

It's about 9 miles to the Gym. I was going to buy another piece of Equipment but don't know where I would put it but it's high dollar.

Funny I worked out with Weights for 3 years and gained.

Went to Stepper like I'm doing now doing more Cardio and lost weight.

I use to go to the pool. I was swimming until I messed my Arm up and found I have Prostate Cancer. I wear throw away Underwear and I'm embarrassed going to the Shower.

Went this morning for 20 minutes burnt little over 200 calories.

Can't cut Firewood like I did before and walk miles Hunting but better than doing nothing.

Cut way back on my eating lost 60 pounds wanting to lose another 60 but I'm stuck for now.
don't smoke Acapulco gold that medicine make me hungry and everybody that I know.

Your determination is inspiring! A few years ago, I had my own fitness reset after a shoulder injury. It felt like starting over, and even 10 minutes at the gym was tough at first, but small steps added up.When I hit a wall in recovery, I looked into different ways to support my progress. A friend mentioned best anabolic steroids in Canada as an option for enhancing recovery and strength. I decided to learn more and ended up focusing on rebuilding at my own pace. For me, dialing in on protein and rest made a big difference, but I get why people explore those options when they’re serious about making gains.
