does it really matter if you plant the root up or down???

yes it makes sence to put it down but ive also heard that its better to put it up beacause the root curves naturaly anyways, ..any thoughts?

i just put fresh seed into the soil and keep it atleast 70 and i have had one out of ten die,the rest worked like nature intended

Roots follow gravity now matter how you plant them, but yes it is better to place the root down as much as possible.

I wouldn't say it doesnt matter...the plant will use less energy turning itself around if you place it down as much as possible.

In nature it doesn't matter, but since you have the control over it I'd say it definitely does in this case.

I disagree, you want to give your seeds every advantage you can to speed up their germination and use their reserve energy making the new leaves instead. So it DOES matter.
