Black Domina is a good indica-leaning hybrid to start with, if you're trying to waste your day pleasurably. It's narcotic, simply. Smells and colors that are very rare. Also try Romulan, Watermelon Zkittlez, and Pink Kush.
For sativas, we're entering my specialty. Landrace is too variant for indoor growing, mostly, so I'll recommend some worked cultivars that really blast you with feel-good vibes and/or energy and motivation. Try
KwaZulu. They say it's for beginners everywhere they sell it (which isn't many places stateside), but it has no roof. None. Smoke or eat enough and you will get blitzed with energy, screaming motivation, and psychedelic madness of the finest intensity. Plus, huge yields like you wouldn't believe. ISN'T MYRCENE, which is huge. No
TRUE SATIVA is myrcene-dominant. Not one. It's myrcene that puts you down hard and gets your heart really beating in that near-comatose state. That's good for a lonely weekend and little else. Also try
Golden Tiger for amazing psychedelic effects, including hallucinations (after consuming "a heroic dose"). If you're patient, Golden Tiger is a heavy-ass yielder, but the medicine it makes will transform a good day into a perfect day and a bad day into a "learning opportunity." Keep that in mind. Finally, I'd recommend some of the Malawi-derived goodies that are guaranteed to kick, at the expense of the true 14-week-flower, landrace experience. I'm talking
Kali Mist. However, Kali Mist is one of the dreaded myrcene-dominant fakers, so take that recommendation with a pinch of salt. Maybe just get some
Malawi Gold and wait the 14 weeks of flower. That's only 2-4 weeks longer than Kali, and the result will do nothing but motivate, energize, and galvanize you, without any heaviness of brain or body. Whereas Kali Mist will definitely whisper about slowing down and idling. However, this effect never happens with Malawi Gold, from Afropips, unless you use too much (which can be as little as a generous "bowl" of the really hashy stuff at the apex of the plant) and have to lay down for the spinning dizziness, which is its main detractor. One more:
Super Silver Haze, by Sensi Seeds. A masterwork of sativa goodness. And just one more:
CandyLand, which has the bizarre effect of slowing down the user, while speeding up their mind and maintaining total clarity. EXCELLENT for contemplation or happy fantasies, as it feels, smells, and tastes like enjoying a large dessert at a 5-star, if the first bite were experienced over and over, all day. Munchies is the downfall of the cultivar. It's really, really bad, like when you smoke Granddaddy Purple (which makes perfect sense). If you get a CandyLand that smells like coffee,

Jamaican Blue Mountain. It's Tourette's. (There are so many good sativas to talk about.)

MOST POWERFUL weed... hybrids are a fabulous compromise of sativa power and indica relaxation and yields, often. Try
White LSD. Or just the Barney's Farm original: LSD, which is a lot more indica. I like the White LSD slightly more, which is by MSNL. That White Widow in its heritage trashes your inhibitions, makes you crave adventure and novelty; and the LSD element (which is derived from the Mazar-I-Sharif landrace) just populates your imagination. You will get tired on this stuff, unless you keep using it, steadily, throughout the day. It's like KwaZulu in that each new dose refreshes the initial impression, which is really fun. White LSD seems to slow time, it's so potent. Sort of the opposite of drinking too much alcohol. The user is still moving normally compared to everyone else's sedate pace. A serious rush, unmatched for sheer force. Also try Jet Fuel, Bruce Banner #3, and Girl Scout Cookies.
