Your logic works only if the density of your medium is 1lb/literI have 50l fabric pots which if I empty a 50lbag in fills half way
If I measure the litres 50 measures half way again
why the fook is either the soil short or is the fabric planter double sized lol
feels like I need more soil by the math I could fit 100l in 50l pots
Exactly why am asking lol there heavy as shit now if the soil measure was wrong then I need more soil no idea how much but there gona get heavy lolSorry misread your original post.
Maybe you got sent the wrong size pot. IMO a bigger pot means a bigger plant. Awfully hard to move 100L pot of wet soil though.
Just out of curiousity, what are the dimensions of the pots?Exactly why am asking lol there heavy as shit now if the soil measure was wrong then I need more soil no idea how much but there gona get heavy lol
450mm 450mm and 380mm highJust out of curiousity, what are the dimensions of the pots?
eg. my 10 gal pots are 15.5in tall by 16in diameter & the 25 gal are 18in tall by 22.5in diameter.
That's almost 77L or 20 Gal, guess that's why 50 L only half filled it.450mm 450mm and 380mm high
What ?A five gallon bucket of moist ewc is just over 25lb. It sounds as if your mix is twice as dense as straight castings? I'm s their a boulder in the bag?
His 50lb bag filled half of his 50l grow bag. IME about 30lbs of ewc will fill half of a 50l grow bag. That means his soil mix is twice the weight per volume of just castings. That seems heavy unless its being weighed fully saturated. What ?
nah I baught 40litres ewc measured with 1l jug gave me 41 jugs of cast
