Voltage x current = watts. This means youd be working with voltages of +100V which is unadvisable due to regulations and safety. Look for a voltage below 48V. The voltage depends on your string: lets say 16 whites + 1 red in series is about 2.8x16 + 2= around 47V. Info on voltage of diodes can be found in datasheets.I'm tryna run 1200-1400 diodes, 72 red, the rest top bin @ 2.8-2.9amps ...
To figure these things out you need to understand the basics of series/parallel connections in an electrical circuit, its not very hard but kinda too long for here.
