I had this nice gorilla glue auto that I sprayed with colloidal silver and got some nice pollen and genetics off, I left it and it flowered and seeded it's self just wondering what the seeds will be like if they will herm out and not be viable or have nice genetics from the one plant

Ideally you take the pollen and use it on an unrelated strain. Unless you really have time to test and breed out bad traits.

My understanding of "selfing" is that you'll get better results and more mature seeds if you start the reversal plant in flower first, then use the pollen on a clone of the same plant that's like 2 or 3 weeks behind the reversed plant in flower.

Open-pollinating itself the way you're doing also works, but may result in more immature seeds than fully mature ones. Agreed with Spindle, GG itself is herm prone & the work you're doing probably won't have any effect on that.
