Humidity will not go up! WTF

Your exhaust fan seems tiny for your grow. I used a 6" inline for my 2x2 and 3x3.
For controls, my inkbird exhausts at 79ish degrees just to keep humidity close to the right range. At lights off i switch my sensor to humidity at 50% to prevent rain in the tent.

It works man temps are pretty good w 570 max HLG.

I cannot get my humidity above 30 RH. I have an evaporative warm mist humidifier in my room (12×5×7H) approximately. I have a high output 4 inch exhaust fan that I would rather not turn off. Heat is forced hot air as well as a small 250 watt portable heater temp maintains around 77F. I'm guessing the fans are sucking out all the humid air. So I imaging managing the exhaust fans is the key. Thanks

Its that little electric heater drying the air. Get a bigger humidifier. The evaporative pad ones will remove white powder, ultrasonic models need distilled water. Need at least 3 gallons/day.

I use a 6 inch in a 5x5 with ac infinity controller. No issues keeping the RH where I want.

That seems like a very low amount of light for a 12 by 5.
I have 320w in 9 sq/ft, 3'x3'.
Not that it really matters, but hlg as well

It is not full of plants just the appropriate area is plants. Around 3x5 approximately. Plenty of light for 6 medium plants

Okay update exhaust fan off caused a temperature peak that was too high. 15 on 15 off is holding at 38rh 73 temp. That is a lot better. Temps can vary a bit but that humidity is much better.

Same, except I'm running a 6" on the in and a 6 on the out too. The in runs one speed lower than the out to make up for the carbon filter on the out and the duct work.

Glad to hear, maybe look into one of the AC Infinity fans that have setpoints for humidity & temperature and dial it in?

Had a shocking 20% RH today when I came to the crime scene.
Nobody was hurt at this point, so I went on with my duties...

Cooked myself a pot of spaghetti, that got the room back up to 35% RH, but it would go back down very quickly.
I tested my own idea and set up a drying rack for clothes with a huge towel that I had thoroughly saturated with water near the heater/window.
Also put a tiny bit of water in 2/3 of the coasters and voila: 50% RH close to the pots 41% RH above my canopy and at the intake of the tent 36%.

Gotta give a shoutout to my dad, he actually came up with the idea of the towels on a drying rack with their tips in a waterbucket in front of a fan.

if you have room for some more pots,fill them full of soil and keep them soaked with water.Saturated pots put off alot of humidity.

That's actually not a bad idea with the pots, but rockwool would surely be better for evaporation or a sponge.
