Can a plant become hermaphrodite because of power outage ?

What de you think ? I mean, my power went out 20 minutes ago, it came back 5 minutes ago, I had to watch a little bit with a lamp because the humidity was really climbing and I couldn't see anything. Do you think it can herm? (I'm week 5.5-6 flower) . It may sound ridiculous , but just worried.

it could but at the same time it mite not. depends on what genetics and whos the breeder. feminized or regulars.

hmmm in my experiences itd be the following days after it occured. look for small bananas shaped things on youre nugs. but at the same time it still takes time for seeds to form in the buds after pollination. but thats if thats what happens

idk man ive had some shit do that to me for the same reason. not saying itd do it 100% but definitely has a chance. cause a plant ca herm on any amount of stress. evn low stress training can cause hermaprodization hard to do that but still is possible.

If your plant starts shooting nanners it won't be because your power went out. So if you get some nanners don't blame it on a 20 minute power outage. That's how all the nonsense floating around gets started.

I say that because if you have to ask this question you're obviously fairly new to growing and may do things that can cause a plant to herm. But guaranteed a 20 minute power outage isn't going to have any effect.

Anyone blaming a 20 minute power outage as a reason their plant hermed is just using that as a scapegoat. The cause is something else the grower did.

Yeah pretty new to it tbh. It's my 2th growth.

stable genetics. do you expect a container of 10 seeds for 10 bucks from some breeder that just threw stuff together and called it square to be stable. to not herm on you, produce what you want, and be a good level of thc? cause i sure dont. thats what i meant. and feminized has a little bit more of a chance to herm then regs. how you make a feminized seed you cause one female to stress using ewhatever natural stress like no wate rover feed etc or the colloidial silver for chemical stress. and the pollen is mostly female pollen creating mostly female seeds not fully tho. but the fact is that the plant that was sprayed was stressed so it has the herm trait in its genes a little more then regs. not saying that trait isnt in there to begin with

Feminized is more prone to herm than regs?

Every herm I’ve ever had we’re from regular seeds, never had one from feminized personally!

Then again you told him a 20 minute power outage may cause his plants to herm.
