Hey Pittbudz and purp, This is a pic of my baby, my pride in joy, Shadow...RIP baby! Smoke a J in the honor of these wonderful dogs.
But tell me this isn't one of the most beautiful looking pitts you ever seen. I never fought her, but my older brother did
I hated it, I remember fearing that one day my brother would come home without her. But, she was really good at what she did, so good she had the Western Mass Champion title for I don't know how many years. But the good news, I took her away from that life. She fought from age 2 to age 6, and I took her away from it then. Then she lived to the ripe age of 15, so she was able to live her last years in peace, with people who love her. It took me just about her whole life to break her from that...Kill any dog I see mode. I finally did it, and was able to bring her to the park, and not worry about her tearing a dog up. I would have to be careful when dogs came up to her, because if they provoked her, well, it was all over for them, but she did really good. Even thought she WAS a fighter, she has so much love to give. I remember she use to rest her head against my chest, giving me a doggy hug. God I miss her...(Cry)
Yeah, Ill admit it, I cried like a baby when she passed, it was on my lap. But at least when she went, she was with the person she loved, and I gently pet her until she went. And I will admit, when I think about her, I still do cry. After all, aren't your dogs like family? Aren't they like your son/daughter?
Thanks pittbudz and purp for sharing pics of your beautiful dogs. Take good care of them, and give them lots of love. You have beautfiul dogs, and you are very lucky. I know how much love they can show, and there is nothing better than that.
Anyways, that picture is of her when she was about 9yrs old. Looking good for 9yrs huh? She ended up having cataraz at a young age, so in the pic her eye might look clowdy. Hmmm, maybe thats why she loved to smoke so much.
Sorry, didn't mean to write so much, and have no intent to jack your thread, but I am sure you don't mind talking about pitts.
Pittbudz...you got any updates on your ladies?
