Hey guys and girls my name is Chris so I have some goals I'd like to achieve first of all I'm beginning these forms as means of keeping myself busy and connecting with other people who are also into the same type of hobby so any followers or any people to follow up on my post and my pictures and just keeping up with my girl and give me some advice and just feedback I would really appreciate it it would help a lot and it would be nice to connect with some people that know what they're doing so my plan here I live in Michigan and my plan is to start my girl right now and I already have it started which I'll post pics I'm growing LEDs as a way to save my money I'm hoping the seeds that I had started are my seats from last year's outdoor grow I also have plans to make feminized seeds as last year I had hermaphrodite a plant using colloidal silver to collect the feminized pollen and I also had just gotten some gorilla glue number four seeds for my buddy so this is what I got so far and I'll show you my girl space as well

Anyways my plan is to veg these plants throughout the whole winter until spring comes around I would like to plant them and I would at least like to have four marijuana trees the rest of them I will most likely flower indoors but what are you guys think my new lights come in today there are two 45 watt LED lights I'll post pictures of them as well when I receive the light somete today does anyone know a good height above the plants to hang my new lights?

Lmao I was using talk to txt thats why there's no punctuations sorry about that and how does this look should I have them closer? Yea I'm not very educated on led lighting I was looking into another investment on a light what's the best wattage for this amount of plants?

If they get enough light and have room for roots they will be giant if you grow them all through winter. These 2 poor girls are still in my 2x4 and we've chopped the tops off a few times already, :lol:

What is your grow space size? And as far as led lighting goes invest in a good light that is not purple. Their are better lights out there. I would advise that you buy a good light so you do not make the same mistake so many have made which is buying a couple of lights before they figure out they need more light. I made same mistake.

Ok so I just got back and measured the space and 29 inches deep 37 inches wide and 55 inches in height so yes I kinda already figured I was gonna need more lighting and I'm guessing I'm gonna need them within some weeks I do tattoos for my job and business has been a lil slow recently how much and what types of led should I get I would like to keep led for cost efficiency

And I got these baby's sprouting some gorilla glue #4 seeds I know I got 12 plants going lol I'm gonna flower about half of em early to produce a variety of feminized seeds I'm only letting a few go all winter lol .. well at least that's my plan I have this vision I wanna reach of some marijuana trees in my yard lmao I'm very curious at how big the plants could actually reach

I laughed because I feel your pain. My 2x4 tent has two mother plants and is under blurple. While I was sidelined they grew up into the damn lights. Sort of hard to flip a 5' tall motorbreath 15 that doubles in stretch :bigjoint: .
Don't be hatin on my blurples:mrgreen:, I've been running them non stop since 2017 and they were the first lights I ever bought. Totally kick butt at veg but no way I'd flower with them.

OP, using your measurements comes out at just about 6 square feet. You want around 40 watts per square foot so a 250-300 watt light is what you're looking for. That's actual from the wall watts and not some BS advertised wattage number. You want to see what it draws from the outlet. Lots of good light deals on the Best Deals thread. Best of luck with the grow.

Depending on the wattage of the bulb and how many you use it could help for sure. Do a search for CFL grows, they used to be popular when prohibition was everywhere because you didn't have to go to a grow shop or order lights to your house. I'm all about using what you have and repurposing stuff for the garden

That's funny shit. Because my wife has been watering the plants for the last few months. She did a pretty good job though and I'm impressed. I guess my wife is better than yours, :lol:.

She didn't know to drain the runoff trays because I assumed it was common sense. The plants started looking like shit from the pictures she was showing me and then she asked about the long roots hanging out of the pot bottoms. I put 2 and 2 together and it got a little better. I'll let you tell my crazy Filipino wife that yours is better. She knows where I sleep and had a concealed carry permit :bigjoint:
