Hello, I need some help correctly identifying my problem, my leaves are developing a rust color(NOT spots) on the larger leaves especially from the top of the stem moving outward towards the tips of the leaves. Strain is Runtz Muffin, 2nd week in flower, plant is about 4ft from top of soil in 7 gallon fabric pot. Started indoors in 6x6 tent with one other plant of the same size, but put outside on a balcony yesterday to see if the change of environment would have a positive effect. Nutrients used are from Fox Farms, fed about every three days, watered as necessary based on soil dryness (usually every other day). For anyone questioning the outdoor conditions, I’m in the Caribbean, no concerns about extreme temps here (it’s about 82F outside right now). The leaves are turning rust color as pointed out, curling up and drying out….eventually falling. What do you all think? Sorry about the quality of the pics….

Fed every 3 days suggests possibly overfeeding. What strength were you feeding at and exactly what were you feeding? Entire plant looks rough.
So I checked out the link, thank you again, the leaf claw does fit the bill for nitrogen toxicity but I’m not sure that is the cause of the rust color….
Yes, I suspect you may be correct about the overfeeding part….you’re also correct that the entire plant looks rough! It went from being one of the bushiest plants I’ve grown to this mere shell of itself…I’ve added some more pics…I’ve also added pics of the nutes I’ve been using. I stick to the recommended ratio of 2-3 tbsp to a gallon…..I’m concerned that even if I fix this issue, I won’t be able to restore it to it’s original bushy glory. In the pics you can see the downward curling of the leaves and shrinkage as they dry up….

Deal with the obvious issue at hand first, Irshuns.
If they are otherwise healthy a bit of rust or spots isn't much of a deal...

Potassium or phosphorus excess can cause this spotting. I’m not a fan of flushing but I think that’s probably your first step here. Have you used these nutrients before to produce good bud?

Yes I have used these before with good results…..so I’m not suspecting the nutes themselves, maybe just my usage …..but I’ve started with the flushing so we’ll see how it progresses

I think you may be following what it says on the bottles instead of the feeding chart?
The chart shows 1-2 tbsp max per gallon (and most people start with half or less), if you are feeding 2-3 tbsp you most likely are overfeeding.

This is the fox farms soil feeding schedule I was going off. You can ignore all the extras as it looks like you are feeding the trio.
I only used FF for one run but from what I recall you usually do not feed every watering with fox farms and most people suggest starting at 50% of what is suggested and seeing how the plants take it and go from there.

Sometimes rust spots are from over watering.
