Have an email out to ac infinity to see if they sell separate hanging bars, but was wondering if anyone knows of another place that offers them besides the small vivosun ones on amazon?
Looking for a 5x5 with 1" poles.

My acinfinity arrived missing a few poles. I emailed them, and they sent replacements no questions asked.

Wire closet shelving works well along the sides of my tent.
Could make something work like that across a roof as well to attach items.

What do you mean by "hanging bars", anyway? Do you need to replace ceiling cross-bars, or are you just looking to add some?

I still say get a pack (or two) of s-hooks instead

I want a couple extra ceiling crossbars.
Pvc isn't an option given span+heat+weight.

What are you trying to hang in the tent? I've taken pvc and slid rebar threw it to make it stiffer and never had issues with hanging things like lights, blowers etc.

I hate how they all use those free floating ceiling bars, I wish they snapped in place like the rest of the tent.

I normally have a 36" towerfan that I hang from the ceiling to circulate air.
It's nice to have it's own bar to be able to place where needed.

I also don't want to use the hanging wires on my new light just 4 ratchet straps which means it needs 2 bars itself.

Then there's the fan+filter...

I threw a chunk of plywood on top of my tent, and put the fan there.. Nice to have it outside

I run my ratchet straps to the lights from the actual frame of the tent rather than the sliding cross bars. What type of light are you running? I can't imagine its any heavier than the lead balloon I'm screwing around with this run. :wall:

It's the MedicGrow Fold 8.
Dimensions around 45x43. Tent is 60x60 so I'm going to have to use the bars.

pressure treated fence boards cut just under 5 ft laying atop of my bars also work for attaching fans.
I like that idea.
I may be able to get away with using some of the bars from my 4x4 laying over the 5x5 bars...
Thanks

Using a jigsaw for example, I would also put a big radius on the corner of the boards just to make installation a bit easier above the bars and on the seams of tent

Not to familiar with that light but guessing by the size it's not a real light weight. Is the driver removable?
