How are raw compared to clubs? Next best thing then?

My buddies and i used a qp in mine.. this was back in 95-96 .. i got the record from my dad and it didnt take long for me to burn that giant paper..FYI: It takes about 3 Oz to fill it...
It won't stay lit, even if you have bionic lungs.

If you just burn a Club Caberet Width, with nothing in it. It burns up into nothing. No ash left.
Raw leaves a small amount of ash. Plus the Club has no glue, and is self adhering, and are very thin. They are easily torn when rolling a joint, so you have to be careful.
I like the Raw well enough, and they have no chemicals in them as far as I know.

Oooh yeah. I've been using the old singles for almost 50 years now myself, know all about them. Used to use the bistro width from time to time when I could find them.
Thanks, reckon I'll have to try some raw for when I run out.

Ive definitely used the singles too. Theyre the same as the Cabaret except smaller. No difference in thickness ect.

In no specific order, these are the brands of my youth.
The JOB 1.5 was my go to. It was most available and the 1.5 size worked well for me.
I've never had cones. We knew of them, but no place in town sold them.
The only RAW product I have bought was the 5m roll.
Just once.
It was too much hassle for a teen to appreciate.
Someone gave me a pack of the BIG RAW papers for Christmas a few years back.
I never used them.
Don't know where they are now, maybe in a drawer somewhere, or I may have thrown them out.
Too much hassle to deal with and not very efficient.
I can roll a decent joint, but prefer not to.
It's been decades since I bought rolling papers.
I prefer pipes, pinch hitters and bongs.
If you roll it, I will smoke it.
I have smoked Tampon joints.

I used to consider myself an ambassador for Club papers. I'd keep a pack of Zig Zags or something else around to show people the burn test. Big ole ash after a Zig Zag, and nothing after a Club. My favorite was the taste test. Roll the same weed in two joints. Smoke the Zig Zag first. Then light up the Club. You'll never ever want to smoke out of a smelly and dirty ass bong or gunked up old pipe ever again. Lol. Hell, it's even better than smoking out of fresh clean bongs/pipes.
But rolling with them is an art.
And thanks to others for talking about those clear papers, veggie or whatever they're made of. Don't know if I hit the like button or not.

Heh, I don't remember getting high with you, but until your RAW example, we both used the same papers.
I do raw now, tho. I still have some ZZ and OCB, from like the 80s, too.
