Does LED room temp affect the resin wax membrane

Hey guys I noticed my plants are happiest under my LED light with a room temp of low to mid 80’s. I was curious if anyone has any info if the higher temp will change the trichome wax membrane from thin to thick. I know not all resin is the same but curious if the higher temp could change the thickness of the membrane.

More heat = less oils, terpenes start to evaporate around 77 °F if I remember correctly. Some of my best rosin yields were from flower when I ran a lower vpd with lower temps.

Not sure what that even means. Is this concern from something you've read somewhere?

I to am confused as to why this deep thinking over an indoor grow. Terpenes have volatility based on high temps but led’s at 80° ranges are usually what to shoot for since IR is a little lacking compared to say HPS / HID lamps.

Sometimes jumping down the botanical rabbit hole may lead you to do stupid things for a basic gardening grow.
Remember it’s just a plant - it does not need 50 bottles of supplements or magic techniques.

No it’s more of a hash question I suppose. Some trichomes have a thin wax membrane ( more full melt type ) and others have a very thick wax membrane ( bubble) even if it’s basically zero contamination ( plant matter , trichome stalks , esc.
so I just wondered even when the trichome may have by design a thinner wax exterior , I just wondered if temp could affect this.

I keep my grow very simple . I barely even feed my plants unless they show they need it. This was purely a question based on trichome. Nothing to do with simplified or complicated grow styles

Like @Budzbuddha hinted at.. within reason, higher room temps under led does not create higher leaf temps than a lower temp room with hid.
Ideal growing conditions should be the goal.

Bugbee mentioned that yes, while terps degrade at a faster rate under more heat, the plant also produces more terpenes under the right conditions, offsetting the loss.

That’s why drying in lower temps is so important for maintaining a good smell.
