How are they looking ?

They've been transplanted 22 days ago ffof soil. I think 3 gallon pots. Only given 5ml of calmag last watering . They've not been fed nutes yet . Gonna use GH flora series.
I'm thinking it's hot soil from green leaves and burnt tips. Just flipped lights 6 days ago. Noticing the big stretch.
Any opinions would be great.
Thanks !

Looking gd. Ffof does run hot with alot of Nitrogen. I would wait til I see em looking a lil hungry before adding nutes. Maybe another week or two. I had to stop using ffof cus it was to unpredictable. I went 2 months without adding nutes then wanted to add my bloom nutes and burnt em up. When u do start feeding start low then raise slowly.

Are you using tap water or RO? If tap stop adding cal/mag it’s not needed with tap water and soil unless you see signs of a deficiency.
As posted above FFOF is way too unpredictable to say least.
Just keep up good watering habits and wait till they start to need feeding before adding any. That soil when it’s a good bag should hold them over for several weeks at least.
I just noticed you said 3g pots so you will need to feed often once the soil runs out that’s pretty small pots for soil grows.
They look pretty healthy so far besides the slight tip burn but that’s not a big deal so keep up the good work.

I would hold off on the cal/mag unless your well water is very low ppm. But most likely the C/M isn’t needed

My well water is 330-350ppm pending time of yr so I mix mine with half spring water to get it down to a reasonable level
In contrast, my water is 23ppm, CalMag is most certainly needed. But only a small dose a key times. I am of the opinion people give way too much CalMag, which in turn causes other issues.

I’m currently running sunshine advanced mix#4 and tried to skip the cal/mag but started to see signs of deficiency so I had to start adding it again.
What would you more experienced folks say is a good level of cal/mag how many ppm? I would like to run as little as possible without having issues.
I’m currently using 1ml per gal and a pinch of Epsom

a buddy just up the road ran flood and drain for years off his tap water without anything but general hydro trio. He never seemed to have an issue ever but I do when I run my half/half mix of tap and spring

The spring water I’m mixing is 24ppm mixed 50/50 with my 330ppm tap so wouldn’t think it would need any but shows deficiencies pretty quick if I don’t add any

What's the proper way to use Azamax? It has to be sprayed 3 tine6s within 10 days right ? 1 TBS per gallon ?
How long into flowering can this stuff be used ?
Thank you for all the help everyone!

Do you have an analysis of your tap water? It's interesting to see what makes up those PPMs and really helps figuring out how much (if any) supplemental Ca/Mg you need beyond your base nutrients. You can find a water analysis for pretty much any town of any size in the USA online these days, but they can be hard to locate sometimes.

I will see what I can find but most wells in my town are very different from one another. The population of my town is less than 1000 people we are in the sticks. Those thousand people are spread over a big area so that’s why they differ so much.
