That is a boat load of seeds on that paper plate.Usually run into issues with low crop yield/potency and am trying to get ahead of the problem curve with this journal.

I learned a cool trick yesterday, using spinosad as a root drench. @curious2garden said 15ml - 30ml per gal. I did it yesterday and my plants weren't dead last night, so it's a start.Attempting to proactively keep fungus gnats away yesterday I broke a quarter tab of Mosquito Dunk and put it in the gallon of water. Today I gave the plants a drink.
Thanks for the tip. I haven't seen anything yet.I learned a cool trick yesterday, using spinosad as a root drench. @curious2garden said 15ml - 30ml per gal. I did it yesterday and my plants weren't dead last night, so it's a start.
The pot has a top because the humidity in the basement tent fluctuates between 23 and 24%. The seedling leaves started drooping Monday so I put them in the pot as a makeshift humidity chamber. Why does the pot have a top and why is the light turned all the way up for seedlings.
Oh, well, OK.The pot has a top because the humidity in the basement tent fluctuates between 23 and 24%. The seedling leaves started drooping Monday so I put them in the pot as a makeshift humidity chamber.
Since the pot top is covering the seedlings I tuned the LED fixture up to compensate for the glass.
Why else?
I had the seedlings under a florescent fixture but the humidity was too low so the thought to seal them in a stock pot popped in. What else can I do? I tried a dish pan with plastic wrap but the wrap wouldn't stick to the plastic dish pan.Oh, well, OK.
My furnace removes humidity out of the air. The furnace even has a sump that periodically runs. I just don't think there is any way to raise humidity without sealing an area in plastic. Before I put these into the stock pot I did start misting them every few hours beginning Sunday. You may want to run a humidifier in the tent with them instead of covering them and turning up the light.
