Ppm run off question

So To test your run off ppm to see if there is a salt build up at the Roots is it correct you would need to do it when the soil is completely dry? Because if still wet from a feed you would not know if the plant would have drank the nutes? And if it’s dry anything that was in the run off would be a build up salt can’t be consumed?

I’m saying when you put the clean water through to get the run off does it have to be dry

If you're using salt based nutes, just flush 3 times the pot amount at the flip, and immediately feed on top of that with some run off. Do this again 2 more times during the flower cycle, and you don't really have to worry about it.... but always feed to 15-20% run off so it doesn't build up.

The best cure is prevention. Good watering habits throughout is the best move.
