Ppm run off question

So To test your run off ppm to see if there is a salt build up at the Roots is it correct you would need to do it when the soil is completely dry? Because if still wet from a feed you would not know if the plant would have drank the nutes? And if it’s dry anything that was in the run off would be a build up salt can’t be consumed?

If you're using salt based nutes, just flush 3 times the pot amount at the flip, and immediately feed on top of that with some run off. Do this again 2 more times during the flower cycle, and you don't really have to worry about it.... but always feed to 15-20% run off so it doesn't build up.

The best cure is prevention. ;) Good watering habits throughout is the best move.
