Septoria,Rust or what?

Hey yall, i have 2 plants . 1 has kept throwing fan leaves that develop these spots. I figure its probably septoria or rust but as ive never had either im not sure. Im now treating with neem oil. Ive already removed the affected leaves in the picture. I fkd up and posted on other threads. My bad. Im trying. Any help would be great. Thanks.

It's hard to tell by the pictures, I'd say either Septoria or more likely a Calcium issue. Did these ever go outside? Septoria indoors is darn near unheard of but it could be brought in by bad hygiene practices like going to the tent after being outside without changing clothes at the least.
What soil and nutrients have you been giving them? Are you using tap water or RO water? Also, do you add Cal Mag to your feeds? We'll get it figured out between all of us.

No never outside, they are in FFOF, i added in mykos, compost, epsom salts and cow manure plus lime to bring up ph to 6.5. Distilled water. I have cal-mag but never needed it this soon. It started in the 2nd week. The other plant is fine. All i can think is i used an already used starter cup on that one without bleaching it out. Ive already started another bean germinating in case i have to toss it. Let me say I sure appreciate you for any help you can offer. Ive never had this happen before. Oh and thankyou for serving our country! I got a kid in the navy.

They are only 22 days old. Just transplanted into 5g buckets of FFOF slightly amended 7 days ago. I have never had to add anything to this mixture until after a month. They are gg4 autos so i usually add some cal-mag and tiger bloom when they pop pistils

Why?

FFOF is fine for at least a month without adding anything. Why are you using distilled water?

Your issue is not from using a pot that you didn't bleach.

I have to use distilled because my well water runs from 5.2 to 6. And youre right, ive never had to add anything but water for the first month in the final container. Honestly i didnt think the uncleaned pot was responsible but I dont know what else. I clean my growspace regularly, have good airflow and such. I dont think i brought anything in but who knows. I always wash my hands and such before touching them.

I went to college in NC and it's where I smoked my first really good weed. Love the mountains down around Boone.
If you're using bottled water just because of the ph I'd think about going with the well water and a ph up product. The minerals in the water are good for the plant and it saves a ton of money.
If it's septoria the fungicide should knock it out with a couple applications but I'd try to isolate it in another tent until I knew for sure. Those spores get everywhere and it's a bitch to fight once it's going strong. The septoria spots will usually be deep and kind of like a blister from a cigarette burn. Round, dark orange and bumpy. Keep your environment warm and on the dry side to help limit good conditions for it. Hope this helps some and I'm sure there's going to be more advice to help you out. I'll follow the thread and help wherever I can. Tell your son thanks for serving. Navy is a tough branch for having to travel a lot.

What is the EC or PPMs of your well water? Anyone with well water should have it tested, a low PH with a low EC should be fine. It's usually hard water with a high PH that is best to thin out with RO. Sometimes well water has too much iron, best to have it tested and post the results.
If you just transplanted to 5 gal pots, then all I would do is follow the new growth to see if the problem continues.
You should be specific about what you added, I'd add nothing except some perlite but hopefully slightly amended ffof doesn't cause a problem.
Distilled is expensive, if you can't use well water use ro with a small dose of cal mag.
It might be necrotic spots from a lack of calcium in the distilled water, but it would only be a guess because the amendments added might be causing the issue.

Thanks alot. Yeah ive had some really good pot that came from Boone. I just been using the distilled till they get bigger and the mykos is working. I use general hydroponics ph up with my well water afterwards. I had some bad things happen to my seedlings using my water before. Since they dont use much when small distilled works. Ive been adding the compost and manure and stuff and mix it up good before transplanting. Had good luck with it before. I appreciate you taking the time to help.

I have had alot of ph issues with this water. It fluctuates alot. There is ALOT of iron in the water im sure as they used to mine iron ore here. I only use distilled for the first few weeks. My other plants in the same mixture have been fine. This plant started having spots on the 3rd set of leaves. I add epsom salts and lime. The mixture comes out around 6.5 ph which if im not mistaken is same as FFOF. I hope it is a deficency. Then I wont have to worry about contaminating the other. I figure the neem oil spray wont hurt anything just in case. Thanks for responding, i just want to fix this before they get bigger and fixing gets harder. I need to get the water checked, i hadnt thought to have EC checked.

I didnt use google. I watched alot of you tube videos(professor debacco etc. ) looked at lots of pics and read Kyle Kushmans guide. Why cant it be septoria? Ive seen plenty of pot plants with it on there. Kyle even has a section on leaf issues and dude has 10 cannabis cups. It sure looks like septoria but id be delighted to find out its not a pest. Any ideas? I just did a dab too. Did yours help? Thanks for the input. I asked and you all responded. I'm grateful.

That's not to say it CANT happen. But 95% chance it's not septoria and 95% chance you will never even encounter it in your entire growing career.
I dont watch YouTube growers. I don't care if it's Kyle kushman, Bobby weed plants, Jeremy joints, Billy blunts, or whatever their stupid names are.

I doubt you have septoria. Growers always tend to look for an easy scapegoat but most issues are caused by the grower doing too much. In your case you added a bunch of stuff to a soil that didn't need anything added to it.

But I never had spider mites inside either until last grow. And I was careful. Changing clothes ,etc. Before going near my plants. I usually dont ask strangers on forums for help either but I know that if youre going to be able to fix an issue like this, with an autoflower especially, you better fix it fast and before they start flowering, which has been about 30=35 days from sprout on these GG4 autos from (I Love Growing Mutants) Ive never had ANY pest issues indoors until I fkd up and ordered their weak resistance genetics. Ive already got some Mephisto gear for next time. Hey I appreciate you all for taking time to try to help a fellow. I will post some updates here to show what happens. Again many thanks. If its only a 5% chance of septoria then thats great.

Lol. My percent was kind of just a number I threw out. But ya. I don't think septoria is something you are going to need to worry about.

The problems started early in the seedling pot which is happy frog only. It had a lot of spots on the first 5 finger leaves. Its actually gotten no worse,maybe a little better since transplanting into the FFOF. The other plant is doing great. But I dont just throw a bunch of nutes at problems. I have used this mix for 2 years and never had any issues other than the mites last summer and that is obviously my fault somewhere. But no It wasnt my Soil. Thanks for the input. We have high iron in our well water as well it works just fine for soil grows.

Yeah, I think this is a water issue. At the very least move to RO or filtered water and don't use distilled water. I think that's a calcium issue more likely than something else. What is the EC/PPM of your well water? Mine is anywhere from 240-330PPM (.48-.66EC), so I filter it before use then add back the Ca. I have a feeling with the pH you're reporting that you probably have much lower EC and are effectively good to use it and just pH-Up properly.
