Heavy plant, weak stems. Solution?

In my own experience when I’ve tried going light on calcium I’ve ended up with similar plants. Weak stems. Stake them up.
I was thinking along the lines of calcium or potassium issues as it's a marked difference from a normal, healthy stem. It's almost like the stems just never matured. They feel exactly like you'd expect in veg still, and judging by my strict tap water routine for 90 days I'd say it's begging for some food.

I was using potassium silicate in coco/perlite...while i had a little micros in the soil to break it down i was still seeing flimsy stems.so i switched on reccomendation of a fellow grower to use mono silic acid which is readily available to the plant.it did help out a fair bit but not completely.

Go get some spools of simple kite string / Atomic elbow a kid if necessary.
Its what I use for LST . Maybe keep an extra spool for future use.

Trellis can be re-used / just cut the support stringers away.
Couple things.
How many kids have you atomic elbowed?
How many kites have you stolen? Or do you just cut the string to free the kite from it's enslaved life?

I tie them up to the lights as usually my lights are maxed out in height by then. I built a support net above my lst trellis to support buds this time. It has helped I did have to tie one crazy branch up though but I’m not bitchin

You can use plant yoyos too, I kind of like the cheesiness of them but I've never actually bought any. I usually just jam one or two fresh bamboo stakes in a pot and then support the buds with plant wire to the bamboo.

I keep reminding myself to grab a bunch of these. I've been adjusting lights and hanging filters with zip ties connected to zip ties for too long.

I just gave up and started raising and lowering the plants.

There's just something about solely relying on zip ties for everything that makes buying half decent gear feel less enjoyable.
I'm really lazy, I use these in heights up to about 4' thin so I can put multiple ones in a pot. I don't use ties

I do use trellis net but also I use cat5e cable because I have a lot of it. Bad ends extra cables I strip the cover off and use a twisted pair to pull down or pull up. It twists well and holds the plant.

Cat5e cable, I'd love to see a picture of that.

Did some tying up yesterday. Haven't been fucked stringing up the lowers, but I could get them 6" closer to the light if I spend some time.
