i really miss the food most of all. the traffic sucked big time. and the cost of living when we left in 05 was insane. but yeah, the food!!!!

i forgot soft pretzels too. used to get a brown bag of 6 of them for a 1$ on pretty much every off ramp on I95
On the way out of the airport my husband double parked to pick up a couple bags of them. They were wonderful even though I lost my mind over his double parking on a thoroughfare.

taylor ham aka pork roll
trenton tomato pie --don't dare call it a pizza

I wonder if that's what he called Italian Roast Pork? Whatever it was it was wonderful. He came from Havertown.

nope. taylor ham is weird to describe taste wise. but it comes in a chubb that's wrapped in almost like a cloth material. maybe 4" diameter? smoky, hammy, tangy, etc.

our local markets carry it out here. i'm sure you could find it near you.

Yeah it's not super hard to find here now, but pretty expensive.

It wasn't the same 10 years ago...couldn't find it....so I'd have a whole log brought up so I could have it lol

I need a door handle for my '89 Ford Probe :) I had no idea I should ask Matthew about that, thank you.
It's more like a lens cover for a '32 Studebaker thing, I have a 1971 Pontiac Lemans I've been collecting parts for. Before that it was classic Mustang's. I think they have a bunch of different shows for different tastes in vehicle's though like trucks and motorcycles. Before the internet, if you needed something rare for your hotrod Carlisle was the place to go in the East coast. My buddy lived in York, PA working at the Harley Davidson plant up there. I was more of a Philadelphia guy as I got older, the street food up there is amazing compared to DC.
