in his defense, i'm not they are still around as far as sit down places go. but you can find their ice cream at alot of supermarkets around PA. they made a black raspberry that was fantastic
He absolutely craves strawberry shakes. I wonder if that's where he got his addiction :) I'll have to ask him. He does miss PA, So Cal is nothing like his home. Seriously thank you for giving me something about PA to share with him.

I'm making notes. He introduced me to Tasty Kakes. He then ate them (all) LOL It was better that way. His favorite flavor is Butterscotch Krimpets and mine was Tandy Kakes and the time I was there he took me on a cheesesteak tour. None of the names you see but strip mall hole in the walls. I still think of them. For dinner we all met (he had 9 brothers and sisters) at The Lamplighter Inn and I had the best Seafood Newburg I've ever tasted. They have some amazingly good food

i really miss the food most of all. the traffic sucked big time. and the cost of living when we left in 05 was insane. but yeah, the food!!!!

i forgot soft pretzels too. used to get a brown bag of 6 of them for a 1$ on pretty much every off ramp on I95
