Dead Seedlings, Problem?

I had two seedlings that sprouted and grew for about two weeks, while under a couple of my 6500k cfls. They seemed stunted compared to other CFL grows that I saw. I gave them some FISH EMULSION 5-1-1 at 1/2 Tsp per gallon of distilled water thinking that maybe it would jumpstart their growth. I left my house for 2 days and came back and basically they were dead and withered. My soil: 1/2 organic choice MG with 1/2 perlite.

Im not sure if it was the FISH fert that killed them or another factor. The temp was around 78-80 degrees when I came back and saw them and they had a decent amount of water.

I want to use this fish fert on another new healthy seedling of mine but it makes me nervous.
I can take pics if that will help.

You left seedlings that you expected weren't doing well from the jump alone for two days and expected for them to be in good health when you returned?

You didn’t need to use it yet, but it’s hard to imagine that little bit killed them. Did they rot from damping off/overwatering? If you gave them enough water to be left alone for a couple days and then left them, that’d be my first guess. Anecdotally, I’ve used Alaska Fish Fertilizer (5-1-1) at 1 TBSP per gallon when I was watering pepper plants, and in one of those “fuck it I’m too lazy to get more water to dilute the rest of the stuff in this bucket“ moods, used it to water some seedlings. I don’t recommend it, but the only thing I’ve ever actually killed with diluted fish emulsion was the carpet in my spare bedroom.

So you fed seedlings already in a nutrient rich soil that still had cotyledons (what they feed off) more. I'd suggest not doing that in the future. Further we are all guessing unless you post pictures. Can't really do a post mortem on words. I'm sorry about that. In the future seedlings need less nutrient. But without more information and pics we can't really help, only guess.

Just hope to save them if I can :-|

I thought you said they were dead? If you want actual help you need pictures of them now. Otherwise start again by germinating more seeds.
