You hit the nail on the head with this description. I'm rural as hell and disabled so going to the nearest big town to pick up grow supplies is hard, some days it's just not possible. I can't stand the way they ship though and have gotten exhausted of complaining to UPS and them about it. I'd love to have a local hydro shop in my little local town and maybe with legalization I'll get lucky and someone will open one up.
plenty of great online growshops on line that ship discrete an packed well, Amazon sucks

It seems like shipping has gone to shit...I pretty sure the dude might have dropped the bottle over my fence bacuse my driveway gate was closed. My whole yard has nice fence going around it-which is almost an acre and it has a gate at end of the driveway which is basically the opening to the fence. We usually keep the gate closed so the dogs can roam around... anyways I didn't see the dude open the gate...I dunno though he might have. Anyway when the gate is closed I've seen amazon drivers chuck, literally fucking launch the packages over the fence. I try and track so I know when they are going to be here to have the gate open, but its like, just open the gate, my cocker spaniel if out is going to lick you to death, I understand though they don't want the dog to get out.

Our main UPS driver brings MilkBones for dogs. If our dog isn't outside he leaves a couple bones on the package. Then we let the dog out to find them as we get our package. He's cool. We bought him a big box of MilkBones a month or so ago since he's been doing that for awhile and it's out of his pocket.

But still fuck Amazon,.

Hit up Customer service. Complain and say it was not packaged at all. The item is scrapped. The item is expired. Really lean into how this upset you because you needed it asap and they created more hassle for you. Tell them you do not want a replacement because you already had to rush off to their store to correct their mistake.

amazon delayed my temp controller and I got really pissy with them. Got myself a free titan controller and an apology.

Good luck talking to anyone who isn't in India.

Careful because some people buy grow stuff and then send it back before the return deadline. I don't want any grow equipment that's been in anyone else's grow room.

I can't stand Amazon for other reasons than just that though. I've never hated a company as much as I hate Amazon,.
Really, I think in the past I got a budget HID system from them and it was definitely new...I'm not using the 600w HPS light setup that I got, I have no need for it now, Im running leds...Does any one need a 600w dimmable ballast, its switchable can run HPS and MH bulbs, comes with ballast, ratchets and batwing hood. I'm serious...any takers dm me.

Well, my daughter has a high level job with Amazon traveling the world for about $250k a year, so they pay very well. With that though, a few tricks…..

1. when you order, often you can request a box for your order if it does not normally ship that way. This is especially true for pot stuff. I order Promix bales that way, and always request they be shipped in large cartons. No problem.

2. Often, Amazon let’s you keep the item and they’ll reship you another for free if you use your smarts when requesting a refund.

3. pay attention if the item is shipping from an Amazon ware house or a different retailer, it always says so. Stick with Amazon only.

4. keep shopping Amazon, my daughter needs the job to pay for her high life living.

So many people want to say fuck Amazon but still buy from them daily.

The jobs available at Amazon kind of suck from what I'm told by various people who have worked for them however they supply a ton of jobs for many people who need them.

Good and bad stuff but ultimately it's keeping a ton of people employed and that is a huge up side.

Ya for sure its the modern way of shopping, malls in the us as well as most brick and mortar store are dead. Amazon makes getting products so easy especially if your a busy person and don't have the time to drive to all these different stores, amazon is a one stop shop for alot of people.

That said there alot of things about the company I dont like...amazon delivery driver job(dsp) job would absolutely suck, those people are so overworked and the DSP owner most likely doesn't give a shit about his drivers, just the bottom line. Weird thing is the delivery drivers/DSP are not really amazon employees, amazon basically subs out the delivery/driver work to local trucking companies/courier companies that are known as DSP-Delivery service partner

I'm mean your not wrong about any of this.

With that said the job is there for anyone with a license and a need for a job.

Same can't be said for most other companies.

I personally am on some form of work 12-14 hrs a day 6 days a week. I have no mercy for people who complain about working long hours lmao.
