White flies

I'm having problems what looks like white flies. I read to use a tablespoon of Dawn dish soap with a gallon of water but I also read that that would strip the oils from the plant. I am getting ready to harvest so any help would be appreciated.

Are you seeing whiteflies? I think @HydroDan nailed it, that damage is looking more like thrips, or even the Borg (spider mites), see any fine webs?

I do see tiny white flies when I shake the plant. Also small white eggs on the bottom of some of the leaves.

Slap or shake the plant & if it looks like ashes flying off the plant, those are whiteflies.

Look under the leaves with a magnifying glass or jeweler's loop (about 30-60X magnification). You're looking for tiny little green larvae, or when adults the thrips have a flying stage. You may have both whiteflies and thrips.

That's a tough one, I personally don't like to spray anything on my buds, but there are some remedies available, I'm gonna let others chime in on this one. Best of luck!!

I would try citric acid spray.. 2 tsp per qt water..

Thanks for everyone's help. I'm going to give it a try with the advice you have given. A friend of mine's buddy said to try ladybugs so I will be doing that also.

If'n I was you, I'd do the citric acid first, then ladybugs a few days later, to clean up anything left. You've got a pretty bad infestation, IMHO.
