Has anyone made their own aero cloner I recently did and fit netpots in the holes then the neoprene inside the net pots and I've filled the net pots with small clay balls and I'm hoping that they will root into the clay balls will get more pics of it completed currently been running for 2 days

It's just an experiment I'm hoping they will root around the balls and make it easier to plant into coco to give the plant more support and just make potting them easier

Why not just clone in coco? Clones root great in coco. Takes up less space and is less hassle. I haven't used my aerocloner in well over a decade.

I have done in the past the only reason I'm using an aero cloner is I can leave it for much longer without having to check on them and I've found you don't need the humidity dome really for aero cloners I used to just use them for the first 3 days but I'm testing if I even need to use the dome now

Clay balls don't make anything easier. Like xtsho said, just hang the stem through and when you plant them in coco, it's just like putting them in soil.
Yes I understand how they work I've used one before but didn't like potting them after like I said this is just an experiment

When you clone in coco, when you wet it, do you add nutes, or just use water?
I used just water and when little bumps formed on the stem I used a weak nutrient mix with rhizotonic can't remember the strength now though also make sure you change water every 2 days I'd say with nutrients in and every 3 days with just water but I've not done it for a while so maybe wait and see what other people say first

Maybe so but you'll never progress if you don't try new things I've done it one way so why not try another if it doesn't work can always do it the normal way
