What TDS/PPM meter do you use?

Hello guys, First time posting on the forms after lurking around for a few months. I'm starting to get into aeroponics and EZcloner stuff and I'm having a hard time finding recommendations for EC / PPM monitors. What are you guys using? I'm aware that I will have to keep an eye on water temperature for EC readings so I could just get a separate temp sensor but I bet there has to be a meter with a temp sensor on it to compensate for temperature.

I use the bluelab tds meter as well as ph meter. Don’t waste your money on a cheap one, you’ll just end up paying for a good one after you screw something up taking bad readings. And yes the Bluelab one compensates for temp, at least mine does.

What about the Hanna Instruments meters? I'm seeing similar pricing there, but man, some of the stuff they sell is super expensive and I'm not sure at what price point it doesn't make a difference as to what meter I purchase.

Apera, Blulab, Hanna, Milwaukee all make quality meters with temperature compensation for EC readings.

Avoid the $15 Amazon/Ebay meters like the plague; they are both inaccurate and unreliable.

I own one but rarely use it. I have a Hanna TDS meter and a Bluelab pH meter that I rarely use as well.

I bought a Bluelab Truncheon to see if my HM meter was within range. Seems my cheap HM tds meter is spot on.

Since I have switched from hydro to soil I find I don’t use my meters as much. With hydro I checked ph daily and ppm often.

Apera PH60-Z

Holds calibration well.
Easy to calibrate when needed.
Never an issue and it been fully submerged a few times .
If I need another , Apera all the way.
Can check my salt Level in the pool also.
