Going to pass that along to my dad, he returned to a ruralish area where Hughes was/is the best...holy shit it sucks. T-mobile is bad there as well for phone service, I end up climbing a tree at the end of the driveway normally.
The cool thing about the Gateway, is that it’s small and you can just unplug it and take it with you on vacation, or even in your car or truck if you have a 110v plug in. No data limits (I've tried).. no sign up fee, no contract, and no cancellation fee. Just got the first months statement in the mail yesterday (that's why I was on hold for a fucking hour), and the bill was $47 and change. They had run out of these units for personal, but had a few slots available for business owners only. You just had to supply your company's EIN number, and a photo ID, and I was out the door. Plugged it in, set a password, and we were watching Netflix without buffering for hours at a time, where as on Hughes, it would take us 4 hours to watch an hour movie, or documentary. Highly recommend.
