Temp / humidity issue

Having temp and humidity problems, my lights are @ 60 percent power as I'm at 18 inch trying to stretch , temp is at 30 ..a little high ...and humidity at 54 , but soon as I turn on fan and carbon filter both shoot up , humidity to an alarming 70 %. I'm a total novice to this , can someone advise , thanks. Plants will be 4 week this Monday coming .

I have the bottom vent open on the tent bud , window open for cool air to come in room ect . Any suggestions how to combat please mate, this my first grow and I'm really just winging it lol

I basically just have my fan positioned just below my lights basically blowing the air into the bottom of them just above the plants themselves and I have my carbon filter at top of tent taking hot air out . Sorry I really shouldn't be learning as I go but hey ho give it a go ....

I imagine a fan attached to a filter inside the tent.

You must run duct out of the tent from fan. Not just plug in fan and expect circulation.

You have a non rigid duct that is collapsed. I would assume due to vacuum. That would indicate your fan is blowing in wrong direction. Those flimsy home ducts are junk. Only useable on output side of the fan.

Is it not blowing into the carbon?

Honestly as I says this my very first time doing this , I know I'm probably doing stupid shit here lol. Do you mean the fan blowing up towards the carbon filter at the top buddy ? If so then no lol

No. The cyclone fan. Is it blowing towards the filter? Or is it sucking through the filter and out the tent? It appears that it is blowing towards the filter because the Ducting looks like it is crushed like it is being sucked down.

I'm a jerk. Apologies. Is your fan drawing air from inside your tent?
