So I'm a first time grower in so cal, we got a little rain and some of the buds I think are ready. But since it rained and the humidity has been unusually high, should I wait to chop until they dry out a little?

Thanks for any advice.

Well...outdoor grown plants can get all sorts of creepy crawlers and nasties during the grow...and that should be rinsed off. Depends how much icky your plants are exposed to during the grow.
Oh wow! So just like spray with the hose? Or put them in a bucket of water and gently move them around? They are super sticky.

Thanks for the help.

All good man mine had significant damage my first 2 years I finally gave in to spraying BT an organic natural caterpillar killer. Usually my mold was caused by them but it looks like yours is a mold issue only
Maybe a mold resistant strain(s)

I grew a few strains years back that were completely rotten and full of mold on the inside and growing right by its side was a perfect strain with no problems mold or rot so genetics became a crucial part of my grow here are my 3 girls at the moment IMG_20220907_070757.jpgIMG_20220910_153900.jpgIMG_20220910_154130.jpg

Those lady's look great!

So if it is mold and we tried to scrap all the bad stuff off, so you think it's still ok? Some had none on them, but they are all drying in the same room.
