Should I use LED or HPS for flowering my GG1

I have a spider farmer sf-1000 and a lumatek 250w HPS. Should I change to the HPS for flowering or leave as is?

They are probably roughly the same on their own.

Maybe the hps has the edge.

The sf 1000 says it can flower a 2x2 but that's weak for 2x2 tbh.

Infact I'm going to say the 250w hps has more power

I couldn't replace a 600hps with 300w led but a 600 is more efficient than a 250.

Hard to know without trying one then the other.

If your in an open space I'd drop some white mylar sheets around it like a curtain to reflect your light back in

For the money this stuff is great for that purpose. Good luck with the decision. My vote is for the SF1000 I've got 2 of the first generation ones that work great.

ever try a CMH with a 2800k-ish bulb

scrubs some heat off, and save some zap

if its just the one girl.
I used the SF 1000's with a 315 CMH with a Phillips flowering bulb with great results in a 4x4 tent. Only downside is the 315 sucks to do any plant tending under. Matter of fact I'll never spend time under one again. UV is good for plants but not so good for humans, especially in a tent where the light just gets reflected everywhere and the light is hung lower. If a person goes with a 315 make sure you wear protective gear, or as I will do in the future just shutting off the light if any gardening needs to be done.
