On Monday I started to notice mites on the lower leafs and the middle start being eaten on two plants lucky it’s not spread to them all too much and quickly brought plant magic bugicide saids it’s safe up to harvest the two plants I sprayed a lot of it on and I covered just the bottom and middles of other plants so didn’t spray the top buds much on the others to see how they reacted they seem fine,
only that I did a 2nd coat today and where I have sprayed I can see mites but not so much there eggs so I have sprayed again and seems to kill them just not sure if it’s killing enough. And being this far in flowering wasn’t sure what to try other then that and citric acid but didn’t want pistils to burn. Just don’t want next week to be covered in webs. Anyone used this stuff this far in flowering ?

Are you growing indoors or outdoors? How tall are your girls from the floor to the top?

Growing indoors, there about 3ft-4ft had to tight some down plants down. I think it’s working I have sprayed more yesterday and doesn’t seem they are spreading but keeping a eye on them each day now and turning the bitten leafs to check them about to use the last of the spray which I will buy more as seems to knock them right back at least. just I have seen the odd young one slowly moveing needed to check later to see if any new ones have appear where I have sprayed last.

I have spider mites one time. They were introduced by a friend who came in my grow room to help me. Since then no one goes in there but me. I spent hundreds of dollars on this and that trying to kill them. I spent a lot of time researching the whole concept. I came up with an idea I'd yet to see anyone mentioned or even talk about. I got a cylinder from a local store that sells different gases and filled it up with carbon monoxide. I put a regulator on it it and a 6 ft long plastic hose. After that I took some large trash bags and set my pots and plants into those and pulled the trash bag up around the plant. I filled up the trash bags with carbon monoxide and let them stay full for five six minutes. The spider might breathe oxygen and the carbon monoxide scarves them of that. Leave the trash bags under your pots and repeat and six or seven days.

Yeah that doesn’t sound a bad idea never heard that one before, I’ve had them on and off for few years.Just glad I hopefully stoped them early for now at least. I just need get through this month as it’s last grow of year in this tent and can clean it all out for next year. I would use citric acid or diluted alcohol if wasn’t in flowering. If I see more now the hoover is comeing out and useing the rest of the spray on them.

Good luck. If your method works I'd be very happy and amazed. I think that mite eggs hatch every 5 days so they're very prolific.

I recently had to battle them. An organic alternative that worked for me was 1/2 - 1 tsp peppermint oil/ 1 tsp dish soap 64 oz water in pump sprayer. Saturate the plant, make sure to get the underside of everything. Leave out of the lights or turn them way down. I carry my plants to the garage. 2 separate treatments and I dont see them around any more... 49 days in flower

Yeah I might have to try that tomorrow a lot of the webbing and eggs on the under leafs are gone but can see the young ones moveing slowly which is pissing me off,I have cut one down was about a week early but was the worst one so hopefully slow them down a bit more each plant I will take out to spray next, I have about 7 about a month away but I’d say 5 haven’t got any or hardy any. And two bottom and the middle started but hopefully have slowed them down till can get something better. Have you harvested that plant if so what did it end up smoking like and looking?
