I was reading an article about plants turning purple. It suggested that this happens as nights get colder and plants start breaking down chlorophyll into sugars...
My initial thought was, could my plant use supplemental sugars when nights start getting colder, or is it better to let the plant start burning up the chlorophyll? Is this a sign of the time to stop supplementing sugars?
