Sooo My neighbor found a weed plant growing in a field..it's about 4 ft, but it has no buds. It WAS a really pretty plant. He dug it up..I'm pretty sure he kept the roots in tact. He put it in a small cardboard box until he found a pot, He put it inside the first night, and it started wilting, so he put it outside, now its REALLY wilted over, like VERY wilted. Does this mean it's dead? If not...How to bring it back to life..Please help. ANYBODY!!! I never grew a weedplant, or any plant for that matter, so details details details. and FAST ...before it dies, if it didn't already.

In order to diagnose any plant problems, the environmental specs are needed.. ok, the plant is 4 feet and has been growing outside in soil, but what kind of soil is it in now? how often are you watering? what kind of light is it getting? what does it mean that he kept the 'roots intact'? always transplanting a plant will make it go into shock so he fact that it is wilting right now is no big surprise.. if the root ball is intact and the roots are now grounded well in fresh soil, then just make sure the plant is getting a lot of light and fresh air - keep temps in line.. dont feed it any nutes just yet and dont overwater.. any really bad off leaves (drooping/discolored) just cut them off.. and hopefully in a week or two the plant will recover, but ripping a plant out of the ground is always risky business.. if it gets worse, cloning a healthy part is an option, otherwise just keep pruning the plant and cut/untangle the roots each day until the plant finds an energy balance with which it can sustain itself.. if a week goes by and it still has not corrected this energy balance, it will die within another week or so.. good luck!

Even if you didn't steal it from someone, you stole it from something, Mother Nature. It sounds like you, or your neighbor, put this once happy plant through hell so far and you deserve whatever bad karma you get. Read a book next time, you are torturing a living thing.

Just my 2cents but if you didn't want it on your property, you should have just killed the plant. And also it's always someone's neighbor...brother...pet hamster that did something wrong on the interweb.

Plant kidnapping is always a no no! Plant a seed if you want your own plant.

Yo ray day, I got you. Just keep trying to treat the plant right. Don't overwater and you'll need a good/ alot of light for a 4 foot plant. you can always put it back outside or get a good light and try to keep it alive (prob won't work). My plants have wilted from overwatering, too little light, and a few other reasons but most have made it. Scrape together a few bucks and do it right if you have the cahs and the place to do it, otherwise put it back outside, camoflauge it as well as you can (people have even put these things in trees, and see if you got good karma or not.

If it was four feet tall on your property why would you chop it down, just let the fucker grow. It made it to be four feet so it's gotta be hidden pretty well. I don't believe you tho, I think you stole it and if you did, I hope it dies!~~
