Did you ever try it yourself like you said you would?
no, i saw dr.ogkush thoroughly disappointed in his experience so i figured it was
...straight up asking and advising about best way to make ur plant unhealthy, you couldn’t make this shit up
...i mean it shouldnt come off as insulting..but...that's really how your life played out. You promote fringe shit. Then post that? ...yeah let's just say you were really high and call it a day shall we?

My fringe shit comes from scientific experimentation and keeping an open mind until I’ve done it myself

fyi I tried the whole fade by changing ph shite, tried it with plain tap water, half strength nute solution and full strength nute solution, my reasoning was that to leach out immobile elements I’d need to bind them with mobile elements (what’s known as leaching) and in my experience (and many others too) flushing is pseudoscience. The only time a fade is a good thing is when it happens naturally when the plant enters senescence on its own accord.

I wasn’t really high and I stand by what I said

An even more trusted voice then...avg joe grower told me dont bother. Good enough for me
He hardly put any effort in though did he, he just placed a bud out in the open in the fridge, no monitoring equipment, no way of shielding the bud from the constantly changing humidity due to the compressor cycling, nothing to smooth out the humidity peaks and troughs like a humidifier. He just put a bud on a plate in a fridge that had Pepsi in it.

To have good success in a fridge without a humidifier you need to keep the buds in something that you can burp, or something porous that slows down the loss of moisture, when done correctly it takes a month, his was done in 4 days or something

Umm… I’ve yet to see any of this “valuable content”.
so when I spawn discussion about lights photobiology involving studies then it may still be valueable to other persons.

then when I open threads to report on genetics you had it closed due to trolling. and proceed.

So here you can see "Night, Night" which is still unreported here, amongst others. They were welltreated in order to not provoke "stress herms", which is whatever plants do to piss off their owner, when he was ineloquent.

Today I will start a 250W 10K MH for its extreme UVA output, but only for a few hours. This one severely burns leaves quickly.

they are all in 3l shoes, some of them has very tight buds:

this unknown one is most Afghani/Indica and that needs to be vegged with higher farred nextime

it has a nice fruity smell but still too early to cut, maybe 1-2 weeks

You promote drying cannabis in a household refrigerator...you should ease up on playing referee
That's a real good way to slo-dry pot and get a really nice cure if done right. I just got a nice mini fridge and will be doing some pot in there without the wife bitching about everything in HER fridge smelling like bud. 4 -5 weeks just to dry before putting it still moist into jars for burping for another 4 weeks.

I've been curing my pot slow like this for 20 years but usually down in my basement which is as cold as a fridge, (35-40F), for 6 months of the year. Still only 62F now as summer begins to fade but still 84F outside today.

From this.

Genius, when you say higher far red, what do u mean? More dli or lower frequency? And how do you administer it? Led?

Almost always but have done enough dry trimming to know I prefer doing it fresh off the plant. I just bring a plant upstairs and park it beside my desk so I can watch TV and goof around on the 'net while doing a job I hate with a passion. Just the best colas on top at first then back downstairs to let the lower colas ripen up for another week or more.

Now I just quickly snip off anything that doesn't have sugar on it and freeze it fresh for making into concentrates later using naphtha. Or fresh infused coconut/olive/MCT oil by adding fresh frozen buds to the oil and cooking it up.

Agreed, and like I said, you just take the nutrients from the leaves (the part you don't smoke), and put them into the buds (the part you do smoke). It's not getting nutrient out of the bud, which, imo, you cannot do.

Part of the issue I think is experienced growers with a lot of plants (like commercial growing, etc.) can get real detailed and control the end with less nutes. On a large scale it probably adds up to some actual cost savings? But for us noobies; we are sorta bouncing around and lucky to make it to any sort of “end” and to rob the plant of nutrients is just another roadblock to finishing with anything decent- shit I used to cut them down at least a month early ffs…think how many weeks I would rob the plant if I started actively trying to fade my plant! So people who got heir shit dialed can get away with a ton more than those of us who have better odds on a hard way bet on a craps table then finishing a weed plant.

Most commercial bud sucks.

Any of the 'legal' pot my friends have bought and I have tried does suck from the big LPs here in Canukistan. There is supposed to be some really decent stuff from some of the smaller boutique growers that have been entering the market since rules for setting up smaller grows were relaxed a year or so ago.

I'm still not buying any and haven't yet. I did buy my stepdaughter some 20mg CBD gummies for Xmas last year. Seems she has serious cramping and pain for a week every month but I don't know why. ;)

:peace:

Here’s an update and vague anectode for what it’s worth:

yesterday I guesstimated the sulfuric watering (I don’t even have a ph pen Lol) to about twice the sulfuric acid ph drops that I was using before, honestly I haven’t even used enough in the past two weeks to achieve a fade on my ripening plants whatsoever Lol.
I’m using .25% sulfuric acid and this time I added maybe about 30 drops per 1/2 gallon and gave it to the girl that is nearing ripeness but was still a robust green.

she’s ripe enough to smoke and I hate pulling early but I’m out of weed so today I pulled her down and wet trimmed (don’t tell me you guys have never done this LOl)

there was an ever so slight sulfur/rotten eggs smell while I was trimming, also reminiscent of the sulfury taste that you can sometimes pick up on unwashed grapes. I might be imagining things and that odor might have been unrelated to the sulfuric watering, but it’s enough to make me reconsider this idea, at least with sulfuric acid. Part of the reason I was using sulfuric acid is because I (perhaps mistakenly) thought sulfuric acid was a natural component of rain, and what makes it so acidic. After reading more about natural rainwater, what I currently understand is that it’s not necessarily the sulfuric acid (unless the rain is polluted) that makes rain acidic, but the carbonic acid?
Maybe better if tying to make ph 5 (rain-like) water with carbonic acid (not sure exactly how to accomplish that) or just collect rainwater and use that instead. Unfortunately my house doesn’t have gutters so I’m not sure how I would even collect rainwater.

Maybe just grocery store distilled water has a low ph and composition closest to rainwater?
