Mercer County man charged with threats to kill FBI agents after Mar-a-Lago search
"My only goal is to kill more of them before I drop," Mr. Bies wrote on Thursday. "I will not spend one second of my life in their custody..... Agents tracked Mr. Bies' IP address to his residence on Falls Road in rural Mercer County outside of Springfield Falls and took him into custody.
"I will not spend one second of my life in their custody"
you would imagine they would get tired of being wrong constantly...if i try something three times and it doesn't work, i quit trying, at least until i can figure out whats going wrong...doesn't seem like it should be that hard to figure out.

Man that's a tough one. I think they are wrong on that front, every single thing needs to be way out in the open to give as much legitimacy, despite it not being accepted, as possible.

This civil war I have been promised is going to fizzle hard if the public discourse goes at all like it should. The DOJ backing up like that doesn't get us there and looks shady, real or not.
they have a real concern, but should show the affadavit to the two top ranking republicans on the judiciary committee, with the understanding that leaking the material is equivalent to interfering in an ongoing investigation...let them hang themselves, it will be on faux 30 seconds after they walk out of the meeting....if not, then they can reassure the rest of the fucking magats that they better shut the fuck up and back off, because they have trump as dead to rights as possible, and those who support him to his bitter end will be marked...

no...i'm getting tired of pitying fools that continue to be fools.
the truth is readily available...if they can't recognize it when it's not only on open display but being shoved in your face by at least 50% of the media, then they're hopeless, and i don't want to waste any more pity on the hopeless, when there are some who could be rehabilitated. if anyone shows even the vaguest signs of awareness, i'm willing to work with them, but i'm just fucking tired of willfully stupid magats

Hello domestic terrorist watch list and laws, Donald will have fucked everybody from politicians to grass roots gun nuts and racist assholes. If the democrats win enough in November it will happen and if the republicans keep going the the way they are they stand a good chance. Between Donald freaking out along with his base and women freaking out over abortion, the democrats could win, if they harness their energy and can get out the vote.

Donell Harvin: FBI Facing ‘Unprecedented Levels Of Threats’ Following Mar-a-Lago Search
61,552 views Aug 15, 2022 NBC News & MSNBC Homeland Security Analyst Donell Harvin, former Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes, and NBC’s Ken Dilanian and Carol Lee join Andrea Mitchell to discuss the rise in threats against government officials and law enforcement agencies following the FBI search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. “The FBI is facing what they call unprecedented levels of threats to their facilities and their agents,” says Harvin. “There is a standing all nationwide alert for federal law enforcement to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity, particularly online threats or suspicious individuals who may be approaching the buildings that they occupy.”

They are not hopeless imo. Some make it back. I won’t judge them as a class. That is the camel’s nose under the tent flap, at least in my case “lest I be judged”.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not counseling pearls before swine either. Most of them are and will die as dead weight, but every one has a nonzero shot. So I try to stay loose, neither helping nor condemning them. Condemning what they say and do, ;)

Hannity, speaking on Premiere Radio Network’s “The Sean Hannity Show,” pointed out that the Constitution does not bar felons from holding the presidency and sets the limits for the office to only being born in the United States and being at least 35 years old.

“Being a felon is not a disqualification,” Hannity said. “So even crimes potentially far more serious than what is being alleged, potential mishandling of classified information, doesn’t stop somebody from seeking the presidency.”

Hannity, perhaps forgetting that voters would or should be highly influenced if a presidential candidate was indeed a convicted felon, pointed out — correctly, according to Poynter Institute — that federal law does prohibit a felon from “holding office in the United States.”

“And if they’re — if they think that they’re going to somehow make this about Donald Trump and prevent him from running from office, well they obviously have not read something called the Constitution,” Hannity said. “Because the Constitution is pretty clear on what qualifies one to be able to run for president.

“In other words, OK, even if Section 2071 in the federal penal code has penalty provisions upon the conviction that a defendant shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States,” Hannity continued. “OK, but we do have something called the Constitution. And the qualifications for one to be president of the United States that is very clear and enumerated. And you can’t alter it by any statute precisely because our framers in their wisdom didn’t want the executive branch dominated by the legislature, as would happen if Congress could disqualify any incumbent or potential president simply by passing a law.”

Actually those were the good old days. As much as people disliked Bush he was nothing like trump. He made some very bad decisions as President but he was never a racist piece of crap like trump. He was a real Republican not one of these RINO trump cultists trying to destroy America that have hijacked the party.

Bush senior fails on one important point.

He did not correct Reagan’s misdeeds: spend more than tax brings in, use the “trickle down” voodoo economics lie to start stripmining what wealth we built, gut the public health network, undo privatized prisons etc.

I also am unaware of either Bush tackling the race/sex inequalities, like the glass ceiling professional women still endure. Reagan famously used the plainly racist and sexist “welfare queen” dog whistle to energize the stars&bars voters. Did either Bush comment on or work to undo that frankly racist stuff?

tell me one thing either Bush did before the cameras to bring the othersexuals out from under the toxic evangelicals and the bigots they indoctrinate. Or anything to restrain those theocrats.

It’s near midnight and I am sweating. Warm pattern locally. I’m attacking the idea, not you. However, “not being worse than Reagan” is to me too low a bar, just as Covid is a dawdle compared to smallpox. Using that man as a reference is useless, because severe evil can still be many times less bad than his comprehensive evil.

Note also that the party is supporting those authoritarian initiatives to this day. Even with that man’s star dropping out if the sky, Liz Cheney remains censured for being a small-r republican. We need a viable center-right party that will not obstruct the necessary trend toward more social democracy.

The GOP also needs to renounce libertarianism as it is. Small government translates to fuck you if you are poor or disabled or have paid into Social Security all your life. Social Security used to be the “touch it and die” third rail of legislators’ politics. Now Republicans like Rick “skin in the game” Scott are publicly embracing the rape of Social Security.

That Man was no aberration. He peeled the mask off the controlling faction of the GOP who are working to achieve the totalitarian Christian Nationalist state. Eisenhower tried to warn us. Nixon dropped the ball, Ford did not pick it up. With Reagan the plan was back in motion. Unlike typical conspiracy ideas, this one keeps surviving my test. This post sorta grew. Did I mention it’s hot?

that's just not a concern, there's no way the fat fuck will win again. the race is fucking tight now, it's only going to get tighter, and the republican base is split wide open...with neither side having what it takes to beat the democrats...

It comes down to Independents most of which don't want either candidate. If the Democrats run with Biden they'll be making a big mistake. It's not if but when he'd have some kind of health issue that brings into question "Is he fit to run?" And Kamala is a non starter. They need to find someone else. I wouldn't count trump out if it's another matchup against Biden. It would be the Geritol Cage Match.
