Hi this has gone 96 days from seed, about 60 from when I noticed first preflowers

no amber trichs at all but majority are cloudy so wondering if I should just chop it or wait for amber? Don’t want it getting too stoney either
Most pistils have turned from white
Thanks

No responses? Awwww........ I believe that if the trichs are mostly cloudy and there are little or no clears- then you are in the window. Different strains mature at different rates. Indicas tend to mature faster than sativas.

It is good to know your personal preferences- but without experience you got to go with something someone else advises.

You will discover, after a few grows, that you are fond of buds at a particular stage.

YOU determine genetics, how the plant grows and when to harvest.

"Over-ripe" buds may end up with all ambers. The terpene production is gone and they take on a more brown, less attractive appearance. To me, this is when they are easily a week or more past their "best".

When the trichs are all cloudy, they are potent and stimulating but not as heavy or sedating as brown buds.
Understanding optimal levels of cloudy trichs and how they relate to terpene levels can really step up your game as it relates to the end product........

So I like all cloudy and little or no clears................... I believe it comes with experience and that is why you get a variety of advice depending on individual preference. It also depends on genetics, temp and humidity etc............. but all cloudy and no ambers works for me best- depending on the strain and the effect you like

I am not an expert, but those leaves look used up .. trying to go longer likely to just be risking mold for no benefit

thank you - most of my previous plants i let go probably too long and they feel a bit sleepy/couchy - i think i will just chop this and see what the effect is like, there are 1 or 2 amber trichs now but not even 5% in my estimation

yeah i'm just feeding plain water now so it's fading, i am watching closely for mold but have plenty of fans and RH is under 50%

that doesn't look like mine at all. mine are not stretchy. buds are super slow to develop. i bleached the middle plants leaves last night...just readjusted the spotlighting. you have a lot of dead foliage to clean out. N claw. over watering too? dang dude.
i'm only feeding water as im chopping this week, plant is at end of life

Definitely not going to get better when it's on the decline. Chop it, smoke it, next time don't let it get so yellow/brown
yeah I may have stopped feeding it a week or so too soon - have to say this plant was a really light feeder, not sure what the hell it was living on lol
