OK I just flipped. My problem is I have digital reading for my Temperature and it puts off light.

I really like it because I can see it well but if it is going to be a problem I can take it out.

Try to eliminate as many sources of light during the dark period.

AZIZ LIGHT!!!! It's all strain dependent. I've ran phots in a tent with the bottom vents opened in a bedroom that has lights on nearly 24/7 and havent had any issues previously but they were fast flowerers who are usually first gen ruderalis crosses, however I've had mates claim a single standby light caused issues (i dont buy it). Better be safe over sorry if you are worried.

A heavy moonlit night will put out more luminance than an LCD screen imo.

I might take it out because I really have no way of changing the temperature other than opening the Tent when the light is on.
yep, if your monitoring with no way to amend the temp or humidity when it spikes, there's not much point tbh.

I've also noticed if your airflow is on point and recycling itself enough, the temps don't really change much when opening the tent in my room.

I have two Fans in the Tent. I changed my Inline Fan with Filter to a smaller one because the bigger one was pulling my Tent in.

We have Central A/C and with the Tent open it let's the cool air in.

I've had a portable air conditioner in my tent with a fully lit display panel. I never cover the lights on power strips and there are small indicator lights on the heater I use in the winter. I've never bothered to cover them. Never a problem.

Fwiw I’ve had digital displays in the tent and never had an issue. Bruce Bugbee did some experimentation and concluded that anything up to light of a full moon won’t matter.

When I was feeling paranoid I covered the display with painters tape which I could easily peel off and look at. Or you could just buy something like a govee without a display. They are cheap, will monitor temp and humidity, come with a phone app to see the numbers, and let you view long term charts and export data.
