Overpriced, low quality dispensary bud

I grew bud for over 10 years. Can't do it now because of where I live. The street stuff was getting to be nothing but tiny buds. So I got registered to try the "legal" stuff. What a rip off. Price is twice as high a street herb and the dispensary I went to is over-drying their buds. There is a 50% discount on first purchase, which makes it comparable to street price, so I bought $400 worth of bud and concentrate and used said 50% discount.
Well, the bud is so dry that once you open the container it will be so dry after a few days that it almost turns to powder when breaking it up. The THC levels they claim are really deceptive, there is a disclaimer stating that it varies once you select a choice and get into the description. The stuff is so dry that a lot of the trychromes are not there any more. I don't cop a buzz equivalent to what I would expect from something that is 23% thc. I had not used liquid concentrates before so I had high expectations for a good buzz. Well, expectations not met. I will try one of the other dispensaries in the area that have better reviews before making a real decision on concentrates. I don't trust the dispensary that I went to to provide product that is what they claim it to be. My daughter has health conditions and is trying RSO treatment. I Bought from them as she has applied but not got her license yet. I feel really uncomfortable with her getting the benefits expected because I don't believe they are trustworthy. I will get more from a different place.
The legislation devised by our law makers is not there for the medical patients benefits, but for the state with their wanting to micro manage the entire manufacturing and distribution process and the 5 outfits that were granted licenses to F*ck us over. Look online at the other states that have legalized it, the prices are half of what we got stuck with. Not happy at all with it and wrote a letter to the state AG. commissioner to make my feelings known. Got a reply that the department is the wrong one, so I have to send it off again. Not expecting anything from them, just making my feelings known.
The state knows that recreational is coming, and they have had committees in play for a couple of years now making rules. So we can expect more of the same high priced, low quality product that we see in the med field. I think everybody on the committee was selected for their anti marijuana views.

Just wondering where you been shopping guy. There's quite a selection in my area. Try Surterra for the concentrates as they were fourty percent off today. Get picky on flower and try Grow healthy for some queso Perro. I know it's hard to get what you want but keep looking there's more selection on the way. The budkeep said nailing a purchase online can get it done while it's in stock. It's either that or keep watch for 12wk.⚕

Try Liberty. Got a gram cart for less than $40 with Doc's coupon. Top shelf is $50/3.5g and really tasty compared to what they had. :bigjoint:

What I notice lately is the fact that the dispensary buds are hard to roll rocks. The homegrown that has flowered 12 full weeks rolls easier and tastes better. The dispensary must be harvesting to soon cause they roll like nine week of flower - like crud. Then they run out of banana o god so not even they can grow enough? :wall:

I know I let my card lapse since I started growing. Holy shit they are criminals selling it 50 an eighth. And it is usually subpar bud.

If all those crazy evangelicals/puritans sweep into office you might get another run at it ;-)
Oh man, No thank you. I smoked a joint at a rest stop in Ohio last weekend and almost got busted. I guess someone called in drug activity and gave my plates or whatever. ( Be careful in freaking Ohio btw)Brought back all the bad memories and mojo of living under prohibition. I’ll take the bad dispo weed prices ( since I don’t buy that crap) and keep my lack of paranoia please and thank you.

It must be terrifying to enter a prohibition state after living in a legal one. It's probably like driving in the mountains when you're from the flatlands. The mountain people hardly ever notice the perils of their daily life, and can easily identify nonlocals by how they either drive painfully slow or recklessly fast.

We just call them Flatlanders, :bigjoint:.

And we know the perils. But we also know how to drive,:lol::lol:

One more thing: Stay in the right lane except to pass,
In the Blue Ridge Mountains we call them Leafers, because they show up in the fall to see the leaves changing colors and drive slow as hell. I love it when they just stop in the two lane country roads to take selfies. It makes up for when we go to their big cities and stare up at the skyscrapers like yokels. Sort of a yin yang balance thing :bigjoint:

I deleted my post when I noticed it's a FL thread,. I don't think they know what mountains are,:bigjoint:

I didn't say it wasn't a term, I said no one uses it. Same for its antonyms "ridge runner" or "highlander." I live in one of the regions listed. I've also read the book and was a fan of Rodney Mullen back in the day.
