Ive been quietly lurking on this and am also in agreement that its not the water but your choice to compound more into base medium. Not only can calcium become antagonist to magnesium, so can potassium. Coast of maine describes a slow release N …. Plus you added more nutes in a form that has yet to fully be used in an already charged “ super soil “ as they like to call it. This definitely from grower error over any of the products. This is your problem right here, not your water.
You at a minimum should have ran plants on medium alone using tap or whatever. The Fish meal alone covers the calcium component. The excess from your hyper load of nutes created this mess. Adding any and every shelf bought calmag supplement to dump down their throats made it even worse.
