my fan leaves started to have these color differences in it(brown splotches) along with the leaves starting to get a bit crispy. Anyone know what this is? I've done a ton of research and found nothing.

Like in humans, symptoms can be the same but have a different cause, so more info is needed.

What medium are you growing in?
Tap or RO water?
Dry amendments or bottled nutes?
PPM and pH of feed?
Temp/humidity?
How often water/feed?
Pic of entire plant?

im growing in potting soil, using tap water with bottled nutrients, I'm new to growing so I just recently ordered a pH meter because someone recommended it for me. Temp is around 79F and humidity is around 58%. I water when the soil feels dry. pic of entire plant is attached.

Looks like old growth on the bottom of the plant is just wilting it happens. just pay close attention to watering making sure your not over watering and maybe move your light a little closer.

Which potting soil? There's a huge difference between say, Fox Farms and Miracle Grow, and even between the different types of Fox Farms.

Which bottled nutes and do you have a PPM meter to measure how much feed you are giving it? Are you watering to runoff? When using bottled nutes, you need to water until at least 10% of the volume you put in comes out the bottom. This helps push the salts from the nutes out of the medium so salt doesn't accumulate in the soil and burn up your plants.

Just so you know, watering to runoff is not over watering. Over watering comes from giving water too frequently, not by giving a lot of water at once. Drench the plant, and then wait until the pot is light when you lift it up and then drench it again.

I agree with Hipho about the old growth. I'd just remove any necrotic leaves.

Im using miracle grow. I use biothrive fertilizer, usually once every couple of days. I don't water till runoff, I will start to whenever the pot feels light. how often would you recommend I use nutrients?

I didn't take the picture next to the light so I could get it as clear as possible.

I would start watering till runoff probably starting to get some lockout try watering till runoff should clear up. Miracle grows a weird soil it works well for some and shit for others but with out runoff all that waste just sits and builds up as salt on your roots and causes problems

That sounds good. I watered a couple hours ago, not till runoff. you think I should do another watering until runoff now?

Yeah I would do a soaking to clear out any waste and then let her dry up a little and repeat water till runoff next time and she’ll turn around
