Is 12x7 gallon pots in 5x5 under 750w LED too many?

What’s so funny?
The person lying about everything.

I just went to jars last night. 3 plant and a little under 11 ounces. The bottom stuff didn't dense up so that was almost 2 ounces amongst the plants. Smells like tea and weed. Hopefully after curing for a few weeks the weed smell over powers all else.

Oh gotcha. I think he may have been mentally unstable feel bad for him. There’s no need to lie on the internet to impress people you’ll never meet.

Not sure where your harvest fits into the conversation about budders unless you’re him. Congrats though.

You didn't feel bad for him. You harassed the shit out of him. You and your group of trolls even followed him to another site just to fuck with him.

Not to mention he won the challenge against the site owner. You just have a stick up your ass.

Oh look you’re responding to me! Since we’re talking could you explain how you switch your plants to 12/12? And then he went back under his bridge…

this is what it comes down to. if you are growing mostly naturally and not scrogging or doing an enormous amount of lst, you still need a 2x2 square for each plant, if you want it to come close to it's potential. the more you crowd them, they less they will stretch out laterally, and the less secondary bud sites you will get.
i have 10 plants in a 4x8 and wish i could bring that down to 8, but it throws off my cycle (running a perpetual). i'm actually thinking about getting a 4x4 to go with my 4x8, so i can do just that.

bigger the roots, bigger the fruits.

or so I was told.
Up to a point. If you're in a tent, your plants can only get so big and the roots won't necessarily fill out more than they're gonna. ;) Instead, especially if you're using soil, you get more water retention than you might want or need and you're also using more water/nutrients to fill that pot when you water. Lots of successful grows in pots that are 5g or less.

I'm honestly so ignorant I thought cannabis roots expanded in size similar to the way tree roots expand lol (wider near the base). I saw someone's picture of their hydroponic setup on here the other day and all there was was FEET of bean sprout looking roots in the container.. I don;t think it grows like tree roots do.

So it probably not a good idea to grow in anything more than 5 gallons unless you're growing outside I take it?

or if you're going inside and have tons of space (both for large pots and headroom for huge plants). I don't believe that cannabis roots are infinitely expanding. Think of them more like other plants you may have around your house...they need a certain amount of space but don't necessarily expand to fill any space given if you give them a whole lot.

For instance, I have only a tent that's about 7' tall, once you factor in the pot/bag height then the 'hang' of the ventilation & lighting, I'm working with about 4.5' of vertical grow space. I've been using 5g bags and haven't felt like the roots have become so impacted that there wasn't already more room for them to expand when I've pulled the roots to see how they look after harvest.

...and I've actually considered moving to 3g bags since I'm using promix HP anyway which isn't a soil medium.

The good argument for large amounts of soil is if you're doing organic no-till.

..you wouldn't happen to have a Gorilla grow tent, would you?

hp sounds like like coco kind of, how do you feed using that medium? my local hardware store has 107L of that for $38. but I'm not seeing an organic label on it. why is it not considered organic?
